As far as I see it, it's exactly opposite, if we put it into the market, then it truly is for AUR only, as it is visual customization.
Right now, anyone can get a random drop of a cool BPO, which, I thought was amazing, the first BPO that could be "gotten for free", not even grinding FW like APEX's. Obviously, it was going to be at low rates, to preserve the feeling of the rare drop, which I enjoy and most MMO players, which is why we raid and rejoice in world drops.
We are open to putting them in the market for AUR, but we are just honestly surprised by the hostile reaction.
I still kind of like the idea, but it just feels like there's no real chance of getting them. I was so excited about this update and the possibility of having Quafe BPO's and was more than willing to fork over the cash (Even bought two vet packs in preparation) only to realize that you couldn't get them straight from the market. I opened 64 boxes and didn't get a single one. If player trading was already up, things might be different, but the rarity of these drops (Given what they actually are, just visuals for the most part) just doesn't really fit. I could see if they were proto BPO's that you could fully customize, but as is, something like that being so rare is just... well, it's saddening. And given the fact that all of the new dropsuits, vehicles and weapons are only available through extremely rare drops, it feels like most of the update is available only to those willing to gamble huge amounts of money that are likely worth far more than the BPO's they're trying to get.
I want to punch.
