Good: Warbarge Concept / UI / Delivery Love it. Intuitive and well-documented from start to finish. Purchasing Components w/AUR was not at all a chore; pleasantly surprised to find the process streamlined. Very much like the "Claim" mechanism; hope to see a resulting increase in daily logins. Find that I'm both curious to discover what future subsystems will offer and very much wanting moar Warbarge Components. Good signs. The only thing I'd add would be cosmetic; it'd be gratifying to see the ship model change on warbarge level upgrade, perhaps in a way which showcased the newly unlocked subsystem.
Bad: Missing Changes If the Inertial Dampener setting is there, I cannot find it. Also, the fix for deploying into completed match does not appear to have worked; I've been placed into one fully completed match ("clone reserves depleted") and another with 8 clones remaining.
Bad: Missed Opportunity Have seen quite a few old and unfamiliar names in battle today, and my fingers are crossed that I'll see them again tomorrow. It would be a shame if the Warlords surge subsides and the crowd's only takeaway was "this game is still largely unenjoyable." Of the dozen plus matches I've played so far today, one-third to one-half have been uncontested stomps. If these matches (and their regularity) are sufficiently bad to suffocate desire to play by one of your more dedicated fans, I can only imagine how they affect those marginally invested, less forgiving or otherwise on-the-fence.
Good: Salvage Noticed improvements to post-match salvage. "Crushed Magazine Housing" and "Mangled Coil Assembly" made me smile.
Bottomline: 6/10 Delivered beautifully on the headlines. Kudos. Minor points missing, but seemingly free of major issues / bugs. Eager to see what's next. Very excited to see new and returning players in game. Sincerely concerned that their experience might be a poor one on account of the regularity of matchmaking failure. |

I guess I'll sign in and take a look and see what new things I might enjoy...
missions include activating active boosters, and being in an HAV. I guess I don't care about those keys anyway.
War barge... I guess I'll upgrade the factory... Need 1119 more components for the next level? Okay, I guess I'll play again in a couple of days when I can do that. See you then, Dust Five One Four.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

You'll be disappointed if you do, because the factory only holds a certain number of components. That storage capacity ranks up as you level it. To put it bluntly, this system is built to encourage regular logins, which isn't a bad thing mind you, but it's not like passive SP where you can let it build and then spend it all at once.
At level 1, the factory only holds about a day's worth of components.

The optimistic have come to see Warlords, and as we speak Scotty is serving them up as "party boy" fodder.

Eager as always to see what's next.
Thanks, there were, frankly, too many issues yesterday and we are hard at work trying to find out why, and fix them.

I agree with the large majority of the OP.
Like the OP, especially happy with how the warbarge is NOT always in your face demanding money -- but allows for easy purchase if you have spare AUR laying around and want to spend it. Also -- claim concept is good for log in incentive.

Upgrade Claim Show Info
Am I mistaken or are we more frequently going to be using "Claim" than "Upgrade" so that this menu could be reordered to:
Claim Upgrade Show Info
Hitting "X" twice instead of "X", "down", "X" is just one of those little things that makes a user interface more friendly.
