The game seems to run smoother for me than it did in Uprising. Dunno if this is really true though as it could just be a good day rather than the patch fixing stuff.
Matchmaking is still a nightmare. I had three AWESOME games of Domination, came down to having maybe 50 clones between us with both MCC's down to 20% more. But I made the mistake of noticing it so it immediately threw me in 5 games that were "effectively over." Twice in a row it was "capture Null Cann-", "Mission, failed." I thought this wasn't supposed to happen anymore.
I was surprised just how Aurum centered Warbarges are. I actually want to calculate how long it will take to unlock without paying at all; I honestly believe it is longer than the lifespan that the PS3 will have in regards to being supported by Sony. I am deeply upset by the Timer that happens after using Components. This, in truth, is a massive kick in the nuts. "Thanks for monetizing our game! Now please monetize further so you can monetize further." The Cooldown is simply ridiculous for the fact that it is just squeezing people that are willing to spend money for even more money. This is, by far, the most "money grabbing thing" I have seen in this game. It is the epitome of how to be a 'male genitalia' in regards to having a Freemium game. I know that I am often criticize y'all but, in truth:
The Cooldown Timer is terrible. It is, I believe, the worst thing that has been added to the game. As someone who does monetize the game, I feel deeply insulted by this "oh, you wanna spend money? Spend more."
I am deeply concerned where these Warbarges are going to go from here. I know that the idea was to have PC stuff revolve around this new feature. Considering the amount of time needed to unlock these features, I am really worried that it will just become a Pay Wall in regards to doing PC. Similar to how PC originally had a Pay Wall with most people needing to use Aurum gear to fill out their equipment, Warbarge Flotillas are going to amount to your CEO and Directors saying "spend 20 bucks, get your Warbarge up."
