We can call vehicles and orbital strikes.... only installations are missing. This could change.
Callable structures could to be added to the market, like vehicles they will need a limit. Possible upgrades for structures after the usual construct can be imagined. MLT/Basic/ADV/PRO. This could also introduce either a new skill-sub-tree or a single "call installation skill". Which allows respectively to call Basic/ADV/PRO types of turrets.
For the implementation, we already have installations falling from the sky, so we can recycle that mechanic and drop installations in the nearest empty installation socket. When called they should already be claimed by your team but can be hacked afterwards.
This would shake up the game immensely in my opinion as it forms an entirely new battlefield. It also doubles as an entry point for my next proposal.
Please help me on my quest to get the Recruiter C-II Dropsuit!

That said, I would like it if they put more stuff in but... 1. they have limited resources - Work done on this would mean less/no work done on other things. Is this something to prioritize over matchmaking, hit detection, full racial range of vehicles or whatever else you could think of more worthwhile? 2. If implemented, this would potentially mean more polygons on the field, meaning more lag. I'm not saying that this is an argument to stop adding new stuff, but I'm just pointing out that you need to prioritize here as well. For my own enjoyment, I'd rather have a Minmatar LAV than being able to call in a turret that most tank pilots on the enemy team just considers free WP.
Keep up the good work with ideas and criticism though

It often happens that a lot of structures remain until the End of the match. AS long they arent too clustured it shouldnt be a Problem. It should only be some internal rewiring, since all mechanics are in place.
Though I exchanged the word.
PS. Do you really believe in hit detection fixes ?

Nah, not realistically, I was just pulling an example out of my ass to illustrate the need of priortizing due to the lack of dev resources. |
