But even though some of these players have come back and put a couple hours into DUST... That is largely all they are playing.. 2-3 hours a week... And usually in PC kicking the ass from people who put in 20-40 hours a week into DUST.

If there's any good way to quit, it would be to subtly stop playing without announcing the retirement of your character via biomass in an overly dramatic way. I understood that people were upset after fanfest, but they overreacted over a damn game. I took that opportunity to spam like threads and ask for isk, and what do you know, it paid off 8 months later as I still actively play and participate on the forums.

I stopped playing pretty much entirely after the FF announcement, then after Rattati came on board I made an occasional foray back into the game. I started playing more, but I've not been playing anywhere near as much as I used to. I used to spend the majority of the weekend on it and a few hours a night.
