Ty, finally! I think that scr are op against caldari dropsuits because they do +15% dmg to shield and -15% to armor. The scr rifle is the only weapon that has a high effective against shield but as a caldari/minmatar we don't have a weaponnthat has the same percentages vs armor and that't what is making us underpowered vs the scr because that gun has +15% to shield but any other gun has a +15% to armor and that's what makes it impossible to counter a scr user with a caldari or a minmatar dropsuit.

Ok ok ok. Basically, you aren't happy with the RR and how it cannot kill a SCR in close range. First, RR is a range** weapon. SCR is a medium range weapon. Both have drawbacks in CQC, with RR being charge time and SCR being overheat. A SCR will win a lot in a assault battle because it gets shots off first. RR has to charge and go through shields and then armor. If you want a medium or close range, try ARR. If you don't like that, go get a different gun. Also, races are balanced. Caldari are hard hitters from afar with sniper rifles, forge guns, bolt pistols, rail rifles. Minmatar are speedy but weak, with smg, combat rifle, flaylock, and their weapons are for run n gun. Amarr is especially strong, but slow. They use weapons that deal damage while up close when other races pale in EHP. They dominate cities and CQC because of the simple EHP. Gallente are armor regen with weapons designed for mid range for easy cover. They duck and regen their armor quick and pop out for more action with AR, Ion Pistol. Each race has strengths and weaknesses, and being a Caldari Loyalist and complaining about trying to get up close is lame. If you want to dominate CQC, get a different race. Well, CR is op against armor then. It does 15%+armor and 15%-shields. If you want, use that. Don't take on an assault with a scout. Scout is weak and squishy and as many scout complainers say, they are recon. If you don't like that, use them as assassins. Do assassins fight upfront versus someone they clearly have no distinct advantage? No, they step back and do something discreetly to gain the edge. Scouts have EWAR, use it. They're fast, chase after them. Use stealth. Sneak up on him, get the first shot on him, and circle around really fast where he cannot follow you. If you expect to engage a assualt 1v1 with someone who also has a weapon designed just to kill you, and win, you're nuts. Believe in RUST Don't hate the DUST lol
