We all know the state of CCP Shanghai's dev team; Rattati, a handful of devs, and an intern who thinks she is working for China's Got Talent. With such a small team the idea of them developing PvE is nearly impossible to fathom. It would take months and months of dedicated effort (no updates/hotfixes) for them to produce an alpha for PvE in DUST 514.
Then CCP reaches out to us with a message...
CCP wrote:Players, we know that many of you want PvE. It's one of the highest voted features on the community crowdsourcing trello board for good reason. We want to give that to you; however, the CCP Shanghai dev team is small. In order to achieve this goal, we are offering the community a deal.
A new item will become available on the AUR market: Remote Salvage Rights Contract
The item will be available for 30,000 AUR. Purchasing it will place you in a list of players to alpha, and later beta, test PvE content. The content will not be available initially, obviously, as AUR does not directly = PvE. We would have to hire artists and programmers first, but they would solely be focused on PvE.
They then add a goal of X AUR spent on RSRC's somewhere for us to view. They provide updates on current PvE development and involve the community in the design process.
Start your post with a simple: Yes I would buy an RSRC or No I would not buy an RSRC
Then explain why.

Yes, I would buy an RSRC
I can't however, unless I magically find some AUR lying around. (Pockets are empty, so can't buy aurum) Yet I would love to see PvE in the game as it has been my dream since I first saw the trailer that showed it off.
I do however smell a burning troll, this wouldn't be it would it?
Why is it so quiet? Where is everyone?
It's unbearable...

I do however smell a burning troll, this wouldn't be it would it? No trolling. I'm gauging the community's interest in this. And it's cool if you can't afford to buy one right this minute. I mean, they would be available for a good while before an alpha was produced so you would have time.

You have raised my hopes and them razed my hopes Riley. You tw@. :)

Welp, I don't think it will happen. The amount of actual new content to create for that is just massive. You'll have to wait for legion, if you want pve. |

The scope of that project is to big to be filled properly. Especially only by taking 'donations'. It never could live up to the hype. I'd rather have rattati and friends focus on stuff they can achieve in a quality that won't haunt our deepest nightmares. |

It must be rough, to be so jaded, butthurt and arrogant to resort to trying to 'save' dust bunniea from themselves.

Sorry you got it all wrong. I was quite happy when they announced legion. Finally they will use a platform where they have full control over the game and it's development.

Yes I would buy an RSRC. The Galactic Empire would appreciate this along with the help of the probe droids. I approve this message. If Dust cant have Pve then why do other games have it. Its unfair. Make it happen even if it takes months of work, it will pay off at the end. The end. :)

I agree on that. Imagine Dust 514 having the Killzone 3 graphics = omg @_@ I still play Killzone 3 and its still good. I love there drones though. It feels like playing Dust but on a different game. Ccp could take notes.

Agreed with that, I'd rather see the stuff that was in the trailers vs fighting against bots.
