So far its been somewhat of a crap experience. When on recruit phase matches it was ok. Maintaining a high KDA ratio is cake walk. But then after just a measly number of matches they throw you in with people of all levels, which most of them are on bloody proto fits. That is when the cookie crumbled. KDA when down the toilet and grabbing objectives is pretty much suicide since everything can kill you in split seconds. I though: "Damn maybe im just a very fking bad player". I then proceeded to follow guides and shet. No change at all.
Then a friend lent me a fully build character. Result? Everything withing my line of site pretty much dies. So in the end the game is pretty much a P2W grindfest. If I had to point out the biggest problem it would be that players with low amount of skill points are forced to play with players that pretty much have everything already. If you want to progress at a good rate you pretty much have to spend AUR, which would allow you to get SP much faster and on top of that you have access to high level weapons earlier. Also SP usage is pretty tight. Meaning you can't enjoy the variety the game has easily. That said, the game has good gameplay and mechanics, the only thing if you are not willing pay don't expect to be good at the game. It's not that I am unwilling to pay for a game, but games like this always try to lure you in like that and then you have to spend more money than the game is worth or get rek.
I am still playing this game every now and then (with my friend's acc of course, otherwise not) but the way game progression works is pretty unfair and don't recommend this game to anyone. Keep in mind if you are getting into this game don't expect much if ya ain't paying. You will probably are better playing off another FPS like Killzone, Destiny, CoD, Battlefield, ect.

I mostly use the sniper rifle, I go with Charge Sniper Rifle, Scout vk Dropsuit. I usually am changing the modules when in-game so they fit the way I will play in the map, I got a few presets but sometimes I feel like experimenting. I like staying as close as the objective as possible since its less obvious for getting countered sniped but some maps have really good faraway spots that have great visibility on objectives but you are begging to get counter sniped since they are very obvious spots. If the team is reliable I prefer going with the Tactical Sniper which I can easily peel multiple enemies quickly. I NEVER EVER use drop uplinks, I hate it when ally snipers come to my spots and pretty much place themselves completely exposed revealing our position, besides it really rare to die as a sniper. |
