Reasons why you don't use your mic often?

And my family makes fun of me whenever I speak english through my mic. On top of that my family is noisy 60% of the time and I know how everyone hates noisy end players. Add that up that when I do use my mic, almost nobody listens to me or ignores me (I think it's because of my overall voice) I just loose any and all motivation to use my mic. But I do follow orders when I am in a squad. Only times you will hear is when I am with one of my friends in the game or I decide to take squad lead. Changes to Damage mods!

However, after constantly hearing high pitched voices I decided to stop. Actually, that isn't really the truth. At one time I had my sound coming through my speakers and encountered someone playing loud pornography. I have since decided that I didn't want that to happen again. "This is B.S! This is B.S! I paid money! Cash money, dollars money, cash money!"

Whenever I accidentally leave team voice on and someone has a mic all I ever hear is; **** music, infants crying in the background, dogs barking, grown men screaming at the game in rage, someone vacuuming, someone doing the dishes, domestic abuse, people talking in languages I don't speak, people who have their TV's up too loud and I can hear their game audio, people talking about ancient alien theories. I always have team voice deactivated so I don't have to hear all that garbage. Except for foreign languages, you're not garbage I just don't know what you're saying. All the others are garbage due to having no sense of mic courtesy. No way in hell do I want to try communicating into that cesspool. FIRE UP THE HEAVY MEAT GRINDER! Yes, every now and then someone lets out an angry grunt, thats fine. But alot of the time, its people that complain after ....every...... death. Its like "just shut up its a game you get killed it happens". Or people that will give you attitude because you dont do what they ask you to do. If its Faction warfare, i use it sometimes because helping my faction is a cause greater than me, but im picky with the squad ill choose, and I prefer ones with strict radio silence unless its an emergency. Once i found a squad of 5 other lone wolves. No one said anything for like 4 games strait. i think maybe during game 3 someone said "Need a 2nd guy at "D", but beyond that just silence. We were winning and doing good too. God damn, that was probably the best squad i ever rolled with.

I dislike talking to people who haven't hit puberty, dumb people, crazy people, people who breathe heavily, people that barely talk, people whom I can't understand, and people who have their mic volume levels either too low or too high. I usually talk very little either way. If I talk, I'm usually warming up to people, or just saying stuff like, "Enemy Dropship above Alpha; We got 5 Heavies at Bravo" or just laughing at certain situations/jokes. The biggest reason, however, is that I'm pretty much anti-social.

This, or my usual experience with public squads: Join public squad Hear people talking about dumb stuff, or being INCREDIBLY wrong about stuff maybe get on mic to correct them if it's not too much effort. people insist that I'm somehow lying or wrong or someone bragging about how totally *** amazing they are at something... and won't shut up about it. doesn't bother to use any teamwork or anything like that player in question ends up going like 0/11eleventybillion or type in chat what my role is some genius starts telling me how to play, what weapons I should use etc get frustrated and leave Yeah. That's why I can't be bothered to voice up most of the time. Or there'll be the occasional time I play facwar (I don't do it as much anymore because the game mode is honestly broken), and I'll hear 'FC's that just have the most convoluted systems like referring to squads by numbers instead of by who is squadleading, or people talking over everything etc. Hnolai ki tuul, ti sei oni a tiu. I leave squad chat on to listen in but it's mostly filled with what other people are saying. Baby crying, loud music, someone crunching on chips as close to the microphone as they can, or the foreign team I jumped into. The latter sometimes I deal with pretty well. I've met a few foriegn teams that were clearly working well together and while I didn't understand what they were saying, their tone and times of use lined up with what I expected from a well coordinated team. Through gestures I was still able to keep them alive, give them ammo when they needed it, etc. Most of the time, I'll just o/ in chat. Tell them I don't have a mic right now.
