We need another million clone challenge. Those are always the most fun weeks to play dust. |

Nothing Certain wrote:So I did. I inherited a squad from squad finder, two new players showed up. We played 6 games, the total for the first was 1/62 kdr, he managed to get a couple hacks in. The other guy got no kill and died even more but managed some kill assists. I gave them some ISK.We played a full squad of ToP, all proto and a cheap tanker who popped out of his tank every time he was threatened. Then a full squad of ML, same story. Then we bumped into Duna2002, I don't think I need to say more.
You would think that once they got to 15/0 they would realize that it is a mismatch and show some sportsmanship. OK, that was a joke. It was a normal night for me, I see the same thing every night, but because I squadded up I had to watch the ugliest part first hand, and now I am depressed.
The people who think squading up is some magical panacea vs. stompers are full of it. 6 people who arent good at the game are still 6 people who arent good at the game, whether they show up as green or blue on the minimap.
The main problems with this game in regards to this problem are still GEAR IMBALANCE and MATCHMAKING IMBALANCE (capital letters make it true).
New people should not be matched against people who have 60 million SP, and they should not be matched against people who have very high mu scores, even if they have high mu/high SP players on their team they will still get wrecked every time the competent players on the enemy team glance their way. |

Yeah, what kind of idiot wants to have fun and play a video game instead of be bored sitting in the redline. |

Squad finder can suck. Squad leads without mics or those who ditch the squad without lead transfer. Absymal cohesion and often times noobish. Recruitment squads everywhere. I just want to have a decent game, with a decent squad - not get sucked into near-dead corps.
Better to just merge with the squads of the best performing players in a match, granted they are not full or locked.
Please buff my Magsex. It doesn't hit hard enough...

If you see blue chevrons winking out of existence it means don't go there.
I squad up. There is not any logic against doing so. I like having a adv nanite injector on me. VC is a must. What's so hard? Surviving a stomp is its own reward. Finding a team oriented player is a victory in my book. |
