Would this satisfy you?
Nerf HMG RoF so that it takes much longer to overheat but also does less damage, say around 600 DPS instead of 900?
As a heavy since 1.7, I think that this would be a buff to the more skillful heavies so that they have the capacity to kill multiple targets and get more time to fire, but discourages the death touch style of aiming (see KTB's videos).
"Minja" and "Masochist" are synonyms.

I have no problem killing heavies, and I have np being a heavy. So im good.

I dont accept, as a heavy I need 2x the dps of every over weapon while having 2x the hps and the best bonuses in the game.
One of the few assaults you'll find in a PC match!

Overheat is a joke, once I calculated it and it was something like 2400 dmg of continuos fire before overheat on a standard HMG!!!!!

Because lots of people STILL TRY to 1v1 heavies. I only try to 1v1 them if there weak and no logi. Or if i fluxed them.

I think he needs to consider the role of the heavy from "Instaganker" to "Suppressor".
Instagank should be the role of speedy, low HP suits.
Suppressor should have higher DoT, but much less raw killing capacity, unless someone is stupid enough to not get to cover. Suppressors should be the role of the slow, high HP frames.
