He means it's the only solid counter. Grenades leave you immobile and TTK is equal to if not less than the amount of time to throw one. Re's are apparently an exploit and will probably be nerfed. If not they're easily spotted/avoided. Not to mention explosives and stealth don't mix at all.
It's even more disgusting that people complain about Re suicide runs, but turn around and say "don't like heavies? use re's hurka durka."
In heavy you get 40m of range with the Hmg, a base tank of 1000 ehp or 1/5th the ehp a tank gets, and a dps of 1000 to top it all off. You don't even need to stack Hp because it does for you already...

It's supposed to be hard, and there are plenty of counters other than more heavies.
That said, I'm of the opinion that heavies DPS is a bit too high. |

Is it a simple task? Yes, however if you are implying that I as a logi do not help my team ask my corp mates that squad up with me. Besides a rep tool there is oh I don't know nanohives, nanite injectors, uplinks, explosives, scanners. The list goes on  |
