Assuming the Caldari Sentinel has base HP with the dropsuit skill maxed and the KLA-90 has no Proficiency, the Sentinel will survive with 94 armor. Without the need for modules, he survives.

You need at least Prof. 5 in Plasma Cannons to one-shot a base HP Caladri Sentinel that has max skills. Since the difference in life and death is so small, if he's taken any previous damage, he's done.

I'm not 100% certain of the formula to calculate damage, but I hope this helped.

CCP just needs to add some sort of form of movement acceleration. Currently the direction you press moves you at maximum velocity. It would be simple enough to code and could be made fairly realistic with basic understanding of physics, provided we imagine maximum strafe speed as a function of mass, etc.

A KB player though is using 2 separate directional buttons, right and left, that have instant input as soon as they are pressed.
