I completely agree with this, nowadays it's just ridiculous the amount of ppl q-syncing.

If anything they need to increase the squad size to 8. I remember it quite well, yet I still support small squads. You want that many ppl to chat with, make a channel. I've done it several times. Had well over 30 ppl in a channel chatting it up. Your argument for larger squads is invalid. To raise the squad sizes will not solve any problems, only create. Two full squads stomping a full 16 of randoms who just started playing. Ya...real good way to get new players interested in Dust...

A "super squad" of 4 would be more readily opposed than a "super squad" of 6; the likelihood of a stomp declines. Further, if squad size were reduced to 4, the number of squads-in-play would increase substantially, which would increase the odds of Scotty pairing a high-Mu against another high-Mu squad.
So ... what do you base this claim upon? |
