There is 180 Shield 1050 armor with Damage mods, An Officer SCR on an Amarr Assault...
Now which one would be better for a logi to rep?
The Minmatar Assault is fast... and has fast stamina regeneration... That is it... WHen placed toe to toe with the other Assaults it is lacking in almost every way.
It's a suit built for pubs. |

When it gets far more stamina values and far more speed-strafe values?
Again not looking at the entire picture..... What weapon is Ydubbs wielding? Is it Proto? Officer? Is he running damage mods?
This is a minmatar suit completely maxed out around health as far as fitting requirements will let happen... He could fit another extender slot wise but would never have the fitting reqs to do it. It's why hes running an advanced weapon.
At the same time as stacking speed reduction modules and giving up the natural advantage to minmatar to then act and perform like a lesser version of many other suits. Then we get to the fact that Minmatar carry the biggest hitboxes in the game.
If this was some giant point to be made.... It doesnt scan... stack up or is relevant in competitive play..
It works good for giving sweeping generalized statements that attract the attention of the ignorant. |

Stop the nerf parade, its killing whats left of this game. So thrue But strafing is a broken game meckanic that is bad for the game. It's not the strafing/jumping it self that is the problem, it's the fact that many times the bad hit detection and the bad frame rate in combo with the strafing becomes a broken turd. I dont see any problems. Only when i turned of aim assist that's when i notice hit detection issues. It is not like back then when having aim assist off was a good thing. The only beneficial things ive noticed with aim assist off is a lot more smoother aiming just like back then but the hit detection is now messed up. Sometimes my first three bullets don't even do any damage at all.
Aim assist was always a hit detection buff. Worse is they overdid the buff. It is why we had to rebalance the entire game again after 1.4 and spent an entire year doing it.
When your crosshairs turn "Red" with aim assist... Your hitting near 95% of every bullet that leaves your gun on target....
When you pair that with guns like the Assault Combat rifle and Heavy Machine gun... that 90-95% accuracy of every bullet landing in a spray on target is crazy.....
This is why TTK took such a nasty hit in the game... None of the guns or tank values where designed to have that amount of full hit or full miss kinda of gun mechanics..
Now players are either completely missing or hitting at ridiculous accuracy that doesn't miss after lock on.
It hurts so much of what DUST was when it was actually fun.
If Aim assist actually just helped players aim with slight corrections and help here and there? It wouldn't even be a problem... It would be like facing a more skilled player.
But when it actively makes bullet accuracy near perfect in a sweet spot even in full out spray?? It has become a game of shooting by the numbers.
P*S* CCP Isn't alone in using Aim assist as a Hit detection buff. Battlefield 3 Never had Aim assist when it launched.. AFter spending around a year trying to fix it's net code and Hit detection issues they finally just gave it Aim assist as a band aid to fix hit detection. |
