But if I'm saving ISK/PG/CPU, Flux + anti-armor weapon is better than lower tier Locus Greandes.

Flux nades for uplinks removing duty - I have it in my Assault uplinks fit and in all my scouts fits.
Core nades for having that "other thing" to kill other than L and S weapon.

The only grenades I fit are AV, and even those only go on my AV-specific fittings.
So, neither. I sacrifice grenades for better HP/weapons/Ewar/whatever.

In the ye olde days of carrying 3 grenades, I always carried Packed AV Grenades on my Assault to deal with LAVs.
Now I can no longer take the Sentinel's LAV with me as he grabs an easy kill. :(

Fluxes. Cause i can't cook good enough or precise enough to use locuses.
Ajd they pop equipment, which is what i spend most of my time doing in PC.
And since a incorrectly cooked locus spells automatic death for my scout, fluxes are the way to go.
But i hate it when i get fluxed in my Cal Assault, or gal scout for the matter in every suit i run if i can help it i have more shield
then armor.

I prefer Flux because they surprise people more and help clear away enemy equipment. They are also good for scaring away tanks.

Flux since forever, since they are far superior to locus in every way at the STD level.
I haven't skilled into core locus, but I know I'd wreck with those. The only locus variant worth using.
Please buff my Magsex. It doesn't hit hard enough...

I prefer flux as I have a hard time determining the proper release point of a grenade. The flux has a larger radius, and so I use it so soften the targets before I go in. Also, they let me kill equipment easily when they are clumped together, and if I am on the run then this usefulness increases by a factor of 10.

Flux nades starts fights, Locus nades finishes fights.
Locus nades are among other things very nice to have when your target survives with a little Hp and goes behind cover, you get the kill without exposing yourself.
Flux nades are however very good at low level, for lets say an uplink loadout with little extra fitting space or off course as a combo with the MD.
