Well damn, I used to really like thunder way back when he was in Zion. Had some good times, all the Zion guys were cool as hell. Please tell me, after 204 days in FA, you haven't become another mindless Xermbie who thinks you guys are above everyone - when you've never legitimately beat anyone? I digress, not all of you are infected - I hear they're developing a cure for the afflicted. Every corp has their trolls, we are no different: though, I'm running out of pampers quick. Just know, before we took your farms, your attitudes were some of the worst I've seen as displayed in Alliance and Leadership chats. I had only hoped Zat would come back and unflux the situation when I talked with him, there are some respectable guys over there.

I stopped taking the farms at the request of Zat, when it became apparent we meant business. He stated to me the remaining farms would be given away, and wanted the heat to die down. At this point, I remained confident he would return and institute the old-FA caliber corp standards, and CA/FA could work together as expected. I no-showed two attacks on The Rouge Wedding to display my trust in him that the proper actions would be taken.
The not beating anyone legitimately is a matter of perspective, which I could be justifiably erroneous. Not a stab, an opinion. I just honestly don't know anyone you guys have taken down, nor have I witnessed it. Don't get me wrong, FA has some of the best players around (just look at the stats), and a lineup that would scare most, just maybe not the greatest team given the roster/talent. Ntm, a history of no-showing when getting beat. Zatara is (IMO) a stand-up guy, and has great ideas in terms of gameplay; we see eye-to-eye philosophically. However, going to Destiny and giving roles to Devin and Lags was the fatal error. Other than those two, I never really had serious issues with leadership that weren't promptly mitigated. Towards the end, I even started getting along with them.
My guys trolled you so hard, because you rightfully earned it. Owning 26% in FA, plus 23 farm districts (separated between 9 different member-controlled alt corps). Total around 36%, which you took from abandoned OH and small corps. At one point, The Rouge Wedding was listed under top 6 owners in MH with 4% ALONE. The sense of entitlement was ghastly, an attitude rife with chest beating and trolling as you lined your pockets. What is your justification for this? You repayed nothing back to the community. The best part is, none of anything you guys "accomplished" would have been possible had Kalashnikov not given you districts when I was away in the first place. Had I not returned and done everything that has happened since, you would STILL be sitting on those farms. Treat others as you wish to be treated - its a f*kin golden rule for a reason. The trolls got a taste of their own medicine. Just ask Devin, we got along great before he took over FA.
I can't possibly see everything my leaders/members post. I trust them to make sound judgement. Munson may go off at times, but ya know what, there was truth in his statements (the grammar just needed work, but praise him). I don't believe any other leader ever posted anything worth question. My members have always been corrected when starting unnecessary drama - but like I said, some people need diapers changed more often than others. You say we have more trolls, but is that because most of yours were silenced?
Anyway, oops for the TLDR. All of this is arbitrary, my problem is not with you. |

NS got their districts through gifts, and stomping bad teams with their Anglo-American-Wannabe-Division. NS was fully capable of field teams all the way to 0200 for most of their existence. The teams they had at that hour were in fact the best teams they had. The only problem is, that the best they had wasn't half as good as even a KEQ or CAPAQ, thus the 12:00 timers. |

While I do admit a lot of the points you resent are factual like their is no denying that no one showed up to the OH districts and they had owned a huge portion of MH which was given to us basically for free with their departure a lot of it is over stated. Nickmunson made it seem as if we farmed billions a week and to be honest I hardly used mine and Derrith was either inactive or hardly used his though I'm sure a select few made quite a bit off it. We had been trying to give districts away but were running into problems such as nobody wanted them and often we gave some away just to be flipped by alliance.
My problem was never with Cap Acq as a whole but more with a few players like warrior kill for example who took every chance he could to instigate and trash talk all over alliance. It was also with the Hypocrisy for example munson bitches for 20 minutes straight about PARTHOK ringing against alliance then someone kindly points out he hopped over to ToP. It eventually turns into him bitching about FA owning too much land and Nonneck say he will ring against alliance if we do not cut down our land. Nickmunson then says he will too, after 20 minutes of bitching about ringing against alliance he abandons his whole "ringing against alliance is the single most important alliance rule" Then of course we see Nonneck ring against Murphy's after FA Drops below 1% and murphys doesn't have even half as many districts as Cap.
I just feel Cap was not only not helping the alliance but outright going against it w/ the whole Nonneck ringing thing not to say they weren't evr helpful I know munson did ring for murphys and once or twice killed enemy OB support for FA.
I misunderstood you when you said never beaten anyone I took it to mean individual battles not wars as a whole and while I obviously have bias and would disagree I can see why you'd say that. No-showing may not be the most honorable thing and often wrong it does help save morale for example we no-showed against ERA the weekend after locking because we could not possibly beat them with our line up and went on to smash them with a great team over the next 5 days straight.
Well it's unfortunate we could not get along with each other and both corps had been a bit too aggressive towards each other.

Both because of their awful timer that nobody wants to play on, and the fact that Nyain San hides under the skirts of the largest donut alliance whenever possible. They've hidden under almost every major power since beta to ensure that those people will have to help protect them if they get attacked.

Ben, I do appreciate the honesty and validation. However, just a few morals to the story, now that we agree on some points.
1. Having farms and "not even using them" is worse than just abandoning the district months ago and seeing who would take it. Why it was all taken from OH instead of letting the community take it individually is a tragedy itself.
2. FA owning all that land, and obviously not utilizing it, can be directly correlated as the true instigator to this entire ordeal. This is a damn war game. We want fights. We fight the same GD 3 teams every single night. Get bored of that, so we look to fight someone else. Hell, lets fight the dudes who act as if they're on top, hold all the land like they ARE on top, and do nothing to change that image if they really aren't. Oh wait, said people will get exTREMELY butthurt if we show up to a battle that in all actuality means f*king nothing. Does this mean they're either afraid of an actual challenge, want everyone blued up carebear style, or just want control over all the game's talent pool? To be clear, FA/MULA were seen in a few different PC's ringing against us - and we said nothing. Why? Because honestly, we didn't give a ****. People just want to fight. Crying over some ringers here and there, no matter the tags, when it's not about war or taking all your districts, is ludicrous. We let them fight against us, it was interesting.
3. Anyone....I repeat, ANYONE....trying to say they helped us more than we helped them, is an outright farce. We never asked for ringers, E.V.E.R. Roman messaged nick and cold daily, maybe more people idk, and they gladly helped out. I was ALWAYS there to assist leadership/alliance in any way, and made my opinion very clear when Roman tried to go all lolromansboat on everyone. I would not be privy to war-mongering against KEQ/ToP/R*/RG/BL because they had the massive disadvantage having 5 alliance teams and 60% MH coming down on them. But Roman never cared, it's either mass attack or somehow I'm not helping/am against him. Eventually, CAP was alienated in Tso's because I just wanted to do what was right; not cover Roman's ass just because he couldn't beat KEQ's team so he resorts to mass attack.
4. This is the real take-home message. You have a corp, you have a team online, you FIELD YOUR MATCHES. Even if you don't have a team, there is a corporate contract listed - you f*kin show up. Never in our entire corp history have we EVER no-showed, to anyone. Removed from PC entirely I think 4 times altogether: by DDB/KEQ, OH, AE, NS chronologically. At each interval, those respective teams decisively crushed us. NS mass attacked us, we defended 5 districts in two nights....lost every single match (MMG can witness). Doesn't matter, we showed up to every subsequent match and got beat again; actually, it appeared we got better with each battle. We were able to beat AE in their prime, OH in their prime, ERA in their prime, and I would attribute ALL of this to the fact that: if you can't lose, you can't win. Period. Guys that will noshow, are guys that will give up half way through a match (either rage quit, or simply stop trying/pushing). Or conveniently not be online when they see a difficult battle coming up. Or leave the corp after bad defeats. My guys give it all every single time, because they know the cost. They've been there. On paper, our team has overcome insurmountable obstacles, and defeated opposition with stats twice as good as ours.
Sure, losing sucks. Getting removed sucks. But the evolution of your team cannot be compared to those who stuck together after horrible losses. These bonds are much thicker than teams who only show up when the odds are in their favor. Noshowing ties district locking as the single most cowardly act this game has to offer. |

You are correct, I was a little off, the attack on the same day got noshowed when the timer got stacked on FA's side, it was the next attack that flipped it. So only 30 of the 50 mil was lost. I mean the numbers are miniscule, it's really the principle of it that bothered me at the time. That being said, I was obviously in communication with Devin when I received the district, and he told me nothing more than he changed his mind and took it back.
I was off by a few days for how long it took to take it back, but the point remains the same: offering districts to small corps and snatching them back, giving no explanation and cutting communication doesn't play well when trying to get small corps to look to you for support.
Most of the players in FA I actually like, and don't associate the actions of one person on the rest, but I can't act as if FA was a do-no-evil community savior.

Most of the players in FA I actually like, and don't associate the actions of one person on the rest, but I can't act as if FA was a do-no-evil community savior. lol are you aware that devin wasn't giveing small corps districts but in fact selling them the districts for sums of isk.

After communicating regularly with most of the relevant/active corps remaining over the last 3 months, I can witness that these kinds of acts did go on while Devin was steering the ship. FA caused more than a few corps to fear getting into MH because there was a high chance of swindling. Even when I just got back, we had given Second-Nature a few districts to see what they could do. When they merged with us, FA attacked the districts knowing no one would be there to fight. When inquiring as to why exactly districts I had given as gifts would not be rightfully returned to me with the adjoining corp, I received no response from leadership. Even worse, after speaking with Zat about it, he said it was a total BS move and the land would be returned immediately. So I attack it to get it back. Kalashnikov goes in the battle alone, there's 6 FA leaders on the other team (Devin and Lags for certain). They do nothing but hack the points, kill and troll him, and ignore every message he sends to them. In fact, Devin's only response was "No." When I get on later to find the result, I message both Lags and Devin. I still have the messages. When asking why tf they did that, their response was and I quote, "We did it because we can." After that, I targeted your farms and well, the conclusion is clearly illustrated. |

Also, CAP is getting more respect for intelligence daily. At least Grey seems to be competent, which is saying something around here. |

This was during FA's 'all for the community' phase, in which they advertised that they were giving away free districts. Then, speaking to Devin, got the same word from him, he was giving away free districts. If you want to call bullshit on them, feel free, but that really only reinforces my notion that they were not unable to give districts to small corps because no-one wanted them, they were unable to give districts to small corps because they were either flat out taking them back or farming weak corps for easy wins.
