offers up a threat to reliners and afkers or campers where waiting for a full strike would be a waste of time or resources. we have already seen how affective small flux is. this addition would just serve to give us more options. i would say though to reduce the radius so its only affective against those not being active

They're certainly very useful and powerful, including the minor flux strike with it's two rounds. While certainly not useless it is very far from OP.

There is some concern however about the availability of the Minor Flux strike vs Shield vehicles, particularly HAVs. While there is imbalance between Shield and Armor HAVs, this does offer an unfair attack against Shield vehicles that players can pretty much spam constantly.

1) got 2 kills on a jihad jeep with that little baby!
2) did 3000 shield damage to a gunnlogi, allowing me to 1 shot it with my IAFG!

I took out a flying dropship with a small EMP strike. That impulse does fun stuff.

I don't know about having normal strikes. Where do they come into the picture. Are they precision strikes like the small flux or area of affect like the large strikes. A precise but area of effect strike like where I assume normals will be at that cost could be a little op.

Rattati, give us solo players some love. If we make the WP let us use the orbitals.
Really not bothered with making a solo squad and locking it just to use them - it's unfair that I should have to do it when i have earned it. |

Probably more accurate to say it's because of a lack of Eve pilots -able- to participate. Having to be part of Faction Warfare by itself is asking a lot but not knowing where the battles are happening until they're halfway over is another factor.

As much as I hate to admit it, this is true. I also didn't like they re-introduced the Warbarge strike to FW, but until they fix this ^ it might be the right decision.
OBs from EVE was actually easier to pull off when FW was totally screwed up in Dust (Minmatar / Gallente having 100% of the districts). Then you could fairly easily predict where the battles were going to take place. But we don't want to go back to that.
