Accurate like a Combat Rifle? Because those are accurate, but still work at close and long range. I don't see how this will stop heavy spam.

Oh I'm sorry, what were you saying about realism? Just saying, but not one of the things you mentioned is not a real thing. Yes, laser guns exist. Yes, plasma guns exist (to an extent) Iron man suits.... pretty sure we've seen people in iron suits for a few hundred years or so.
