The minmatar scout, this suit fills the role of an assassin, but with the recent updates regarding ewar, the minmatar scouts role has gotten a lot harder due to the fact that if u are 6 to 10m of your target they will detect u. Now this wouldn't be a problem to the other-áscouts but to the minmatar scout that runs knifes that need to be charged to atleast down most adv. suits, it is a problem, some ppl would say: "thats enough time for u to kill them" when in reality its a lot harder. Sure u can kill a distracted target but a target thats running around or not engaging any targets will most of the time see u on their radar due to the fact that u need to be 2.50m to land a nova knife hit, now I normally run damps but now u need at least 1 complex dampener and an extra basic dampener to remain invisible to most targets, this is bad for the minmatar scout because we already have the lowest ehp and a high risk role, and now we need to give up another slot to be able to accomplish this CQC role properly.
In the past there have been multiple threads about giving the minmatar scout a dampening bonus, this probably means giving up one of our current bonuses which are hacking speed and nk damage bonus, I like both of these bonuses but I feel like the minmatar needs to exchange that hacking speed for a dampening bonus this will help by allowing to get close while not being detected.
The new ewar system is great, but I feel that the minmatar scout needs to be looked at. For a scout with a shotgun, getting close to its target and attacking it isn't a problem because the shotgun has more range and doesn't need to charged in any way like the nova knifes.
The minmatar scout is the least used scout according to multiple threads, so we got the threads that say they are the least used scouts and the threads that say they need a buff, what else do u need to realize that they need to be looked at CCP?
Lets keep this thread on topic pls and look for ways to make this dropsuit's role more efficient.

I still think they should buff the damp modules, it takes 1 complex damp and a basic damp to not get scanned by the assaults thats including the skill bonus of 10% and even so, other scouts will still detect u.
So it takes 1 complex damp and at least 1 basic damp to remain undetected by an assault that hasn't skilled into precision, but it only takes 1 adv or complex precision module to detect a scout with the modules mentioned before.
So as we can see stealth in this game has taken a beating, the gallente scout and caldari scout aren't affected as much because they have a damp bonus that allows them to use only 1 complex damp to remain invisible to the assaults radar, the amar has a precision bonus as well as more slots than the minscout allowing it to have a small amount of stealth while still having a good amount of armor.
I would like either a damp bonus to minscout or a buff to damp modules, I think an extra 5% to all damp mods(basi/adv/pro). But this is just my opinion so who cares.
