Hey there, all you mercs looking for the next fit to score easy kills with minimal effort? Well look no further!
As of today, your next weapon to skill into is the assault rail rifle. With this weapon, you'll be able to put out so much dps not even breach ARs will compete with you. For maximum results use it on a Caldari assault. Those extra high slots are perfect for damage mods so no one will even have a snowballs chance in hell against you!
"But foehammerr, what about my shields? AA body with a energy or blaster weapon will kill me fast!"
Well not to worry, because you'll be able to put them down before they even break half shields so it's A-OK.
TL; DR assault rail rifle is stupid overpowered and broken it's not even funny.

TacAR. That's the new FotM. More power than an ScR, with none of the drawbacks. Get it while its hot!
I can see where you are coming from with the ARR, as it does have by far the best DPS:Range ratio of all the Assault Variant Rifles, but the Charge time does go a ways towards keeping it balanced...

Eh, not really. I've been comparing numbers, and while the BAR has a high dps, the ARR has better damage over time. And a higher alpha.

It also holds more rounds per mag than a CR does with Minassault 5.
Just like how the TacAR can shoot more consecutive rounds than the ScR can with Amassault 5.
Its bonkers. ARs are the no.1 rifles in pretty much all categories now.

So, Burst HMGs, Swarms, CRs, ARRs, BARs, Shotguns, shields, armors, scouts, sentinels and HAVs and ADSs are the FOTM in December. Looks pretty balanced for me.

i should know i school RR users all day long.
the trick is to peak from cover, the kick to the RR makes it impossable to hit a target whos weaving in and out of cover so they have to walk right up to you to do any damage and by then they are toast.

Actually, Minmatar Assaults are the FOTM now, and with a good reason since they are an Excellent yet balanced suit.
Strafing might be slightly broken still...
The AR is hardly the new FOTM, it might be super powerful with a Gk.0 assault...But i can Defeat any AR 1 vs 1 with my SCR rifle...At longer ranges with a RR (and sometimes even at close range) and 100% with a Combat rifle...
