You forgot to mention people that are famous because they are very skilled.
Like Da BeEEST, Viktor, Alex (and all the officials), Mr.Murturd,etc...
And people who are famous for being annoying, like Atiim , spkr4dead and myself...

There are 4 ways.
1: Be a complete beast at Dust.
2: Make a thread that's so inaccurate everyone hates you.
3: Get a shitload of ISK and make it rain.
4: Rage about whatever you get killed by and record videos of you dying/raging.
Meh, I give up on FW.

That's because they are out-of-game-famous. Barely anyone you find ingame (that doesn't know them from forums or what not) will know who they are. The only truly famous people in DUST are the top of the leaderboard guys, probably not even that famous since I'm sure not everyone bothers to look at the leaderboard, as poor as it is.
