Keys to being forum famous:
- Restate popular opinions in a snarky way, preferably several times in the same thread, being a bigger a$$ about it each time
- Pick a topic a lot of people either love or hate, preferably both, keep repeating the same thing over and over about it... subliminal advertising for yourself!
- Get banned at least once and post on an alt frequently, bonus points if the alts name is a poorly spelled or scatological version of the name of your main
- Spam likes
- Catchy signature and/or catchphrase
