So the cal logi becomes versatile A proto hive +x +x

Negative.. only rep tool will be vehicle mounted. Just wouldn't be good for meta.

The Cal Logi is arguably in the worst spot amongst the class primarily due to the CPU / PG levels at even the proto tier, speed, survivabilty, and equipment slot layout.
You can run also into some real issues with a slow footed shield tanker like this...most folks will brick tank which further highlights the speed issues. It's pretty common for me to have a very difficult time staying up with speed tank heavies (or even non-speed tank) and the hp benefits are good but certainly not enough to really protect you in a serious firefight.
The slot progression is also pretty tough with 3x equipment slots at proto tier. You definetly run a disadvantage in raw logi capacity against the Gal / Min logi suits and versatility against the Amarr (legit AV fits due to the sidearm slot, etc...).
My basic recommendation for the suit is to increase the CPU buy roughly an ADV CPU mod worth since that's what you usually have to run in the 4th low slot anyway. This allows for high end equipment, some decent tank, and either a stamina or speed mod. Either a side arm or a fourth equipment slot needs to be added - I can work with either option but we definetly need one of the two. My personal preference is a 4th equipment slot.
I do recommend that the high / low slots be normalized by weight class and race though since it would make things a bit easier to work with from a balance stand point. I also think it should have an eHP buff (perhaps in the form of damage resists) and a mild speed or stamina increase to the base suit stats.
As for the role / racial bonus...the Role bonus for lowering equipment CPU / PG cost is fine and i think we can hang on to that. The Racial bonus simply needs to be expanded to more than once piece of equipment.
Possible Racial Bonus Options: 1) Give all Logis some form of repper bonus (either range or intensity) plus current racial bonus. Adjust Min Logi racial bonus to RE related buff.
2) Give a bonus to 2x pieces of equipment that generally follows racial / lore themes and balances passive & active BW equipment. - Cal gets hive & scanner range bonus - Gal gets scan & hive bonus - Amarr gets uplink and rep tool bonus - Min gets Rep tool and Uplink bonus
I tend to like option #2 since it gives more flexibility but either on works pretty well.

I accidently deployed in my proto cal logi once & saved an entire match, love this suit! Hives created a strong bunker, needles rezing at 80% hp kept everyone on thier feet. Just had to meat shield long enough to herd those blueberries into the safe zone. After that it was like waves crashing against rocks, we cloned them without having to chase them.
I would support a buff the hive hp, or maybe the cal logi bonus including increased hive hp as well as the efficency.
Have you considered a career in costumed aggression?
