Plus, having ammo for the shooty shooty is nice. But yeah, it is lackluster for a bonus. If you want a useless bonuses, look at the Caldari assault. Although apparently, if CCP Rat is to be trusted, there is much resistance to changing its bonus. As far as cal logi goes if they had another equipment slot they could carry ammo, uplinks, injectors and a rep tool. They lowered the health values of equipment to all one static value and turned them into a 1 flux all vanish scenario. Caldari Nanohives should be rocking 400 health. And take some time to remove from the field... Not a bullet or two. A proper Caldari Logi Nanohive can completely change the way you defend or assault an objective.. But with how wet paper bag and expendable equipment has turned into... Has nerfed the suit. Nothing else.

There was a time where everyone had these fitted on their shield suits. Now it makes more sense to brick tank then specialize your tank... That needs addressing for the balance between shield and armor. Maybe a shield suit get's a bonus to the efficacy of Shield regulators? Armor suits are getting a natural Health regen built in these days for the counter?

Hell if you could even put in a resistance to some flux damage that would be interesting as well. We should invest some energy in examining a good balance with this in mind. Funny you mention that, given that the Caldari Race created the Nanohive which doesn't even benefit themselves.

Just wish it had a side weapon. Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

Since when would portable ammo supplies and portable medic boxes that you could farm war points from be useless? With advanced an up, everyone benefits from it. The only thing wrong about the callogi is how most damage profiles viciously shred through shields, how the callogi's cpu/pg is gimped, and how this bandwidth update in some aspects make logistics suits that use deployable inefficient. Incompetence is not being able to stop a weapon from being omni-range effective, give it proper recoil or dispersion.

With the new meta I'll be trying a Ewar version of the Caldari logi if I have a few heavies to hide behind. You can make a OK slayer fit with it but when the assault buff came out there is really no point unless you want to carry 3 compact hives around for micro rep. The double proto rep hives is just a gimic when you armor stack. Your stuck to one spot and can easy be killed by a player whom been playing for more then a months time. ADAM-OF-EVE Dead Man's Game RUST415 1735	Posted - 2014.12.14 17:57:00 - [25] - Quote people are making the same mistake i was making. you are trying to maximise your suit towards 1 piece of equipment due to the bonus then trying for as much ehp as possible which leaves your suit weak. fit normally with repair tool, needle, links and the best hive you can fit and you will be able to tank/kill and be a logi more effectively than you ever could with 3 or 4 hives its hard to break away from brick tank and maximising the bonus effect but when you do it you realise carrying all that equipment was just dragging you down and leaving you weak. i have realised recently its speed and not huge ehp thats a logis best friend. I don't run mine like that, I run it with shield tank hive green bottle, reptool and needle as the CCP lords intended. It's still lacking and doesn't scale well from Standard to Proto.
