Used to be that players could get 500k isk for creating a new character. Combine this with the fact that players would make 50 free accounts through PSN and 3 characters per account that's 75 million isk every 10 hour rotation. A lot of players abused this for the years that it existed and as far as I know in CCP's typical YOLO fashion just permitted it much like district locking in PC. I'm sure CCP would claim they couldn't stop it but I highly doubt they couldn't pick out instances where the same IP address logged in to dozens of accounts and deleted characters or transfered isk from all these characters to one. On their end it would be pretty obvious if they cared to look.

This game has tons of isk from various players in the same way diablo had ridiculous amounts of gold from duping. It's why I laugh everytime someone implies that such in such change will break the Dust Economy. Dust doesn't have one... it's going to be interesting when player trading happens. I won't be suprised to see people offering 100mil+ isk per officer weapon.

There seem to be more even games in 1.10 than there was before, but still mostly one sided. To balance pubs just put more emphasis on k/d ratio, soo simple. Random generate squads, everyone goes into a squad, leave and go solo if you want. If you want to squad up with friends, go to fw or pc.

Can't tell if you're serious, are you actually implying that if we focused more on KDR, games would go better? I view KDR as one of the main reasons games do go so unbalanced. Players join and make their decision whether to stand and fight or hide in the redline sniping in the first minute of the match BECAUSE they don't want to ruin the KDR in a match they don't feel OP in. I think some efforts on reworking the redline, as well as LESS focus on KDR MORE focus on WP would be the way to go in terms of helping balance.

So check the roster start of match, every match. If you spot a super squad on one side and not on the other, you're very likely in for a stomp. If you're on the losing side, why stick around only to be robbed of Isk? If you're on the winning side, why stick around only to be bored and ashamed? Both eventually lead to burnout and bad gameplay experience. I'm doing my part; I backout of matches early and often, and I'd encourage you to do the same. If everyone backed out of broken matches, CCP would prioritize fixing the cause of broken matches.

I go in solo allll the time into incredibly unbalanced matches. Doesn't matter, do what you can do. use uplinks to herd the blueberries like sheep, get a scout and pick your 1v1's, drive around a heavy do something but giving up is sad. I always respect the lone redberry trying to put in work even if he stands no chance.

If you matched KDR it would be snipers vs the best tankers. heavies that used to have a logi hooked up to them vs inviso-knifo-scouts. logis vs new players. KDR has no meaning so why can't you people get that out of your small CoD brains. If you are going to matchmake, first match by ping. It will solve most connection problems outside of PC and remove the need for selecting a regional server. The battles will be smoother, and you wont be seeing someone shadow from a half second ago when they are really already shooting at you. The sooner everyone opens their damn eyes and looks at this instead of crying about their 'precious' KDR and ISK payouts, the sooner we can enjoy the game consistantly for the potential it has. The good players in the game probably have positive k/d ratio, the bad ones probably below .3. Ya, you can help your team and never kill anything, I understand. I dont mind leaving a pub stomp these days, Or just hanging out at the redline with the rest of my team. It can be fun to herd the blues around with links. Sometimes I go with my cheapest fit and try to blow up a proto with a re. I might go in with a forge and try to get some kills from way off in the distance. I might just keep spawning and attacking over and over to no avail. What I never used to do and what i dont mind doing now is just leaving the battle.

True that.... I rarely use anything than three of these quafe suits I have bad forever.. They are all less than 8k and I never go negative (surprising, but not really in pubs) haven't played a PC in months cuz I was never on when the corp I was with was having them.. And it makes for a good time and not worrying about losing any money in any match I ever play.. Ever on e in a while I will run a proto suit, but just one.. I like the challenge of going in with my squad and seeing what I can kill with my shiny suit.. Experience almost always wins, don't you agree?

I won't be surprised if the day officer weapons can be traded, they all get scooped up in the first day and get spit back out at 10x the price :P

Why not have pvp based on meta lvl. If im in advanced gear my meta lvl should only go so high. Anything above the respected lvl wont let me play in match. Then your playing same lvl suits as you and all that is needed is skill. Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

This wouldn't work as you can switch from Std to Proto any time during battles. Assault, Logi, Scout, Heavy.. What do you need?
