MN Scout might now be better than AM Scout, but it is not sufficiently OP to be FoTM and it definitely is not better than a GA or CA Scout. As for MN Assault, I do see alot of these but OP and FoTM might be a stretch.
What is plainly OP and perhaps FoTM are Sentinels and HMGs.
What is plainly OP and definitely FoTM are Breach ARs. |

Nah, now we have logis as the opposite of FOTM. Only slightly though.
With the Breach Ar/ScR nerf everything will be pretty much even.
Maybe Bolt Pistol is a little strong. And I use both ScR and Bolt Pistols.

Never said they were OP just a lot using them now, 2-3 minjas a match. 3 or more Min assault with shotgun.More players using them now then before .

Maybe because there are a shitload more heavies....CR's are a plate stacked scrub's weakness. NK's are a heavy's bane. Its not hard to see how these suits are so common now that heavies got buffed...

I don't remember people saying this back when it was a 5/2 layout. In fact I distinctly remember being only one of a few who regularly ran this suit back then.
(I too speced out of this suit myself back then so I dont blame anyone for that of course 4/4 layout really gave it new life)

back then people were still stuck on the EHP stacking being viable as Armor had just gotten buffed with the introduction of Feroscale.
But the early speedtankers, the guys who figured out the hit detection issue early on, were running Min Ass. The min ass can do the damage frame drop trick too. |

Min Assault is more FoTM than the scout. The scout isn't that powerful, or OP. NKs can be considered ridiculous, but I wouldn't call them FoTM.
Here's how you can prove the Assault Minmatar is broken. Take any assault suit, take 4 for example, one from each race.
Go into a friendly fire situation, or que against one another.
Have one player fire a laser continuously. In a straight beam, not moving. Now, have each assault take turns straffing though the beam single pass.
You will find the Minmatar takes 0 to microscopic damage, no matter how long the laser has been firing.
Tested and confirmed. |
