^ I don't care if you're a sargeant major whatever that's not what the killfeeds for. I'd like to see whos got the Thales, or whos on a crazy kill streak, or ob kills. At least give me the option to remove it from the killfeed entirely. It's kind of pointless anyway why not just have it on their kill card? |

The option to turn them off (for yourself) is there in the options menu, but I think we need another option to turn them off entirely. |

Also the ranks are meaningless to me because I can only see my rank on the character sheet, I don't even know what order they go in. So put the rest of them in the loyalty rank menu so I know what to strive for. |

Would like to see the rank(yes it's completely arbitrary and almost meaningless, but it's also entertaining) displayed as their standard contractions(e.g. Pte, Cpl, Sgt etc.) or just rank insignia.
P.S. Would like to see it for slayer and slayee.

It's a sales tactic that plays off the ego, make this arbitrary title that can be raised very efficiently with the purchase and use of aurum , bold and unavoidable. I wish everyone would toggle it off , and CCP get some class . Lame-O tactics. Substance will generate wealth. |

Even a number would be useless. Would you be more scared of a level 10 cal or level 10 gal. Obviously Cal is harder but still you don't know which faction they are 10 in?

With 15 categories and alot of them alike like seargeant/seargeant major its hard to tell people apart. Even with lame names, still better than this lame system where everyones either a seargeant or recruit. I don't even think anyones even above LV 12 so there's really not even the full 15 ranks in use right now. |

Remove all rank info from feed, done. The feed is valuable info in game that should not be cluttered with that "I bought Aurum" BS. I have spend some money in this game, but I don't want anybody to see my rank, It's absolutely unimportant.
Only option if it stays, would be icons for each rank, like seargant stripes and so on. But all the same size (tiny in the feed).
And please make it possible to switch it off entirely.
Dedicated Minmando Masshole with love for Swarmholing... Not playing logi that much anymore... which is a shame...

Ironically when i saw the patch notes and thought this is a stupid idea I actually believed they had done it right by allowing a setting to disable it. Sadly i now know it's just to turn it off for your own name, not everyone.
I do love how they said they did it due to community demand! lol, must have missed those threads.

I have a decent flat screen TV, I see rank and player names. I'm speaking from what I've heard players say in-game. And it could be flat screen TVs too, that are under X inches in size. Thanks though for your incompetency. |

They need to add the option to display rank as the numerical representation (1-15). That would greatly reduce the visual clutter.

Ahh thanks! No wonder I was so confused, I didn't notice the loyalty thing since I started playing again, so basically it shows who spent the most money on the game. I get it now :D
