There was never the suggestion from Rattati's data or descriptions that Min scouts were over performing. His posts, as I read them, mostly suggested it was shotgun scouts (particularly Gallente which were 3rd in his listing of PC over performers) and Cal Scouts.
Amarr and Minmatar were never mentioned as being problems.

No not min scouts, ive never run an amarr so i can't speak for those but even where it stands now i can run a basic suit.
But the thing is if someone is even remotely paying attention im down due to low ehp but its still viable. You just gotta change your playstyle just a bit to suit the match |

I beg to differ. I'm doing just fine as a Minmatar Scout. The only scouts who will complain about these changes are those tourists. The hard-mode scouts will have no problem with these changes. In fact, I see this as a direct challenge to us scouts which I humbly accept.

You can't run Adv Minmatar well vs. Proto players.
That is what I'm saying.
I can still grab my Tiger Scout and wreck face, but that fit is switched out the moment decent scanners come on the field.

I just fit 2 Complex Damps on them and go. Now, I also have given up on the cloak for the time being, especially since Pro cloak is the only viable one for dampening purposes. If the delay was mechanically changed as Maken suggested it might, I would use my Adv suit for wearing the Pro cloak as STD suits don't have the fitting capacity to wear one without severely gimping your suit.

i have 2 suits... basic and proto :P for a long time i only had one fit and that was JUST advance fits (when not in PC) but the reality of the situation is that you need to be able to gear up when you want to and my ADV fits just wernt disposable enough for y liking (i tend to kamikazee for hacks or to acomplish something hilarious)
i DO use a cloak, but i use it to breach a line, one im where im going i dont use it anymore but i fiind it helps me get from point A to point B without being molested by wayward redberrys speeding up my travel time.
right now i have these fits
tiger scout
pro - 2xcomp shields 1x comp precision, 1 damp , 1 kinkat, 1 hack
pro - 2 damp 1 hack
pro 2 damp 1 kinkat
pro 1 damp 2 kinkat
pro 1 damp 2 hack
my high slots are always the same because iits really hard to fit anything else.
ADV fits just arnt worth it anymore with the availability of the apex suits as its more cost efficiant to fun free+proto rather than bothering with ADV fits
