For those that don't know in beta there was just the Caldari assault and two variants of it, the vk.1 and the vk.2. The vk.1 was a armor and shields but slightly more specialized in armor usage, while the vk.2 was specialized in shield usage and wa amazing.
"Amazing" lol. Back then people had a singular perception of those type 2's/vk1's, they sucked cause you couldn't dual tank.
That aside I would like to see the return of racial based tank suits, more dropsuit diversity is always nice.

I strictly remember everyone and their mother using those, barely touching the vk0. They were quicker, and you got more shields than you sacrificed armor, so it was a win win.
Maybe you're right who knows, I was a scrub back then anyway. I used to get pissy back then when people wrecked my 400/400 vk0 in like 3 seconds.
Really wish they would bring back the old soundtrack though, having the music get dramatic the second you got into combat really helped with the immersion.
