First off, equipment spamming is largely a function if being able to switch suits at a SD. The solution to this should have been to remove this ability. Second, I hear a lot of people saying this will make logis stick to one role and it is a good thing. Every other player will still be able to switch roles just as easily as now though, vehicle users will still be able to play two roles simultaneously. They may switch to logi suits instead of heavy suits so they can spread equipment while being protected by their vehicles though. Third, protostomping is just going to get worse. Organized squads will be able to still spam equipment, just thise playing solo will not be able to compensate for their team. Fourth, heavy spam will be worse than ever. We will now have logis that drop their equipment then have nothing to do but shove their rep tool up a heavies butt. Heavies get harder to kill, thus more heavies.
I'll adapt to the changes and will probably end up with more WP per game than now, but I think this change introduces more imbalance and pissible exploits than it removes, especially when just removing the ability to switch suits would have solved 90% of the equipment spam, solved the invincible suit switching exploit and the multitudinous swarmer problem. Add in flux strikes and equipment spam would have been a non-issue.
Because, that's why.

I will probably delete my Forge fits. I always have played forge away from the crowd so I can surprise vehicles. This meant dropping hives first in a scout suit first. If I don't do this I spend most of the match trying to find a hive or safe SD. I won't be able to "spam" those hives anymore.
Because, that's why.

Bandwidth is going to seriously slow down play and bring more boredom to the lobby shooter we all know and love. We will likely see tons of people dropping 1 uplink and then running around in their scout or spamming links then sitting in the redline. Why do you want to stop people from playing mutliple roles? You guys are some real nazzis. ... In the deepest sense of the word. We don't want to stop people from playing as multiple roles, we want to stop them from playing as multiple roles at the same time.
Then why do we have vehicle drivers wearing dropsuits?

Heavies will have 0 bandwidth meaning it will no longer be possible to set up your own nests and switch to a Forge. If you want to stay stocked as a Forge Gunner you'll need a second person to drop hives for you. And thats a bad thing.,,,, how?
Is it a bad thing? It is for me personally, Ihave no desire to be a tower camper. It eliminates my playstyle, while it does almost nothing to stop protosquads from saturating an area with equipment. The tanker I would be trying to kill can now just drop the equipment before running back to his tank in his logi suit, for example. How does BW help the average player? More power for running proto, more advantage to running in a squad with other vets. Is that really what the fame needs, more advantage to vets?
