True,
If tanking is a challenge for you and infantry is not, then I respect the way you choose to play DUST. To each their own.
But the truth of the matter (no pun) is that most tankers don't play that role for the reasons you expressed and my opinions are based on the vast majority of those who run Tanks, and not necessarily you. Fair enough?
And all snipers can suck it.

Tanking? In Battlefront? My god... I thought that was the worst. The AI couldn't do **** last time I played that game. It was fun as hell though.

Oh man, I used to love running my FG fit and chase off these expensive buggers. The more vehicle variety, the richer this game will be.

Please bring back ground based vehicles and their modules from 1.6... as well as the price tag to stop them from being spammed.
Tankers need their variety.

Also if you look into the Shield Marauder vid Pyrex ran with AdaptandDie the way that Supply Deplot explodes is orgasmic..... well not really but it looks really nice.
Also back then I used to have Siege Mode as my Signature thing.
Any time there was a something on the map that squad leader did not like I'd active my Hardener, Damage Control, and Heat Sink II and I was a Bastion that didn't need to move until my target was dead or enemy brought sufficient AV number to run me off of the point.
This was characterised by a resounding "SIEGE mode!" on squad comms.

Forget Marauders. This is what the Amarr tank should be GÇô a slow, heavily armored beast that rolls in and takes the hits, but is a sitting duck if too far in the open and hit with alpha damage due to not being able to roll away quickly. Also, it would be balanced by a scrambler turret not being able to be as deadly as a blaster turret due to RoF and overheat. A laser turret would be a one second long range turret before overheat to take down shields. Add a heat sink module to help be more offensive at the cost of defensive.
More importantly, why can't CCP bring back that original Manu Peak map as a new, separate map? I loved that old map and it was far more tactical and a bit more unpredictable than now.
I'm better than laser focused; I'm hybrid focused.
