There is a squad of heavies and logis on an objective that you need to take. The letter is closed from all but two angles, neither of which can be fired through from range. The top of the objective is covered and there are no vantage points with los on the objective. What do you do?

Fire MD rounds from a distance. The sentinels will laugh at my pathetic attempt at harming them, but it might kill one or two of the logis and it will destroy the metric fucktonne of equipment they probably have **** out everywhere.
Notice I don't push the objective? That's because the objective is lost to me. I am just hoping to wrack up some WP's before the inevitable DEFEAT screen.
Afterwards I will ********** and shitpost on the forums.

RE spam or PLC bombardment.
Or I brick up a six kin burst HMG.
But no, there's no counter that doesn't involve spamming your own fatties or RE douchery.
It's one of the things I hate and want to find a way to fix.

Still can't take the objective with 4 tanked sentinels on it. I'm also very vulnerable to other suits since there are no high spots from which I can fire into the objective.

That new map with the indoor objective? I make a suicide run, dropping down that little air vent or whatever it is in the back with a cloaked/damped BPO scout and blow the place the f*ck up with RE's. Might throw a grenade or two if I survive long enough.

Leave that squad to rot.
They'll be too slow to react to much other than the objective. Perhaps do the occasional flanking run and kite then at range to pick off their logi. Perhaps if you can land and RE on them then you could take out 1 or even 2 of the sentinels.

Plasma Cannon is seriously the best way to deal with the meat wall. Even heavily tanked armor Sentinels will be put to near death by a direct hit.

Grenades? You would be HMG shredded before it left your hand, and if it did then nothing happens anyway.
You must be a heavy.
How many times have I read "teamwork is OP" from a heavy trying to keep their play style from being nerfed and "eyes are OP" from scouts doing the same?
Grenades?

I go down from a shotgun with 3 hits before I can start to turn around. 80% of my deaths come from remote bunnies. I've been killed fairly well by every weapon the game has to offer at one point or another.
Just ask yourself what's the difference between the people killing proto heavies with those guns and you.
Your one of those people who thinks it's logical to stand in front of a MINIGUN and live huh? Why don't you take the time to check out youtube and see what one actually can do.

Outnumber or outthink or outskill them. Take your pick.
Outnumbering and outskilling them are both fairly straightforward.
Outthinking them entails engaging them in one direction, then attacking them from the other direction once you have their back. |

By this way of thinking [last sentence] there's no place for assaults/commandos in towns [PC]
Well.. it already looks like this. And it's stupid.
As to OP. The only counter would be to use sentiniels and logis as they did. But if X can be only countered by other X, it's broken

You presume too much.
I have played every role in this game.
Since I play as a scout I know you are bullshiiting about not turning around before 3 SG hits. 2 is the sweet spot. If you can't take down the sentinel in 2 SG hits the engagement becomes a 50/50 endeavor.
If 80% of your deaths are to RE's then you are the best DUST 514 player in history. Again more bullshiite.
From your post you seem 10-15ish so I feel kind of guilty pointing out your stupidity.
But you brought it upon yourself dumbass.

take control of all the other objectives around. if they leave. pick em off..
since they have such a high defense for that one area. taking the rest should be a hell of a lot easier.
the other solution is to grab the entire team to do a full on bum rush to the objective.
im sure lots of you may die in the process but they may get overwhelmed and finally be pushed out.

I've seen cloaked BPO scouts go in through the ai rvent with Flux Grenades to fry the equipment, specifically targeting the Uplinks, while the front door was covered by a couple of PLC and MD Commandos. Once the Uplinks are gone and the Logi start to fall, it was only a matter of time.
