(Edit: Only in domination. In skirmish just ignore them. Not worth it) I've seen cloaked BPO scouts go in through the ai rvent with Flux Grenades to fry the equipment, specifically targeting the Uplinks, while the front door was covered by a couple of PLC and MD Commandos. Once the Uplinks are gone and the Logi start to fall, it was only a matter of time.
Yup. Very effective with a little coordination. 1-2 guys with MDs at the front is usually enough diversion to make the scout run easier.

I think your point is clear and correct that there is no real counter to this crap except for more of this crap. That said you can use mass drivers and a fireteam to deny more and more of the room to the sentinels and their support until they just have no where else to go. Requires you have competant mass driver people, some guys to dump all over any sentinels who try to push back out, and some guys to cover your butt so the rest of their team doesnt push your pooper in while you are working.
So yeah the only counter to barely any teamwork is quite a bit more teamwork. Something needs to be done about the combo I guess, but what would they do without just making another OP mechanic to replace it? It is a mystery. |

How close are the two angles you have to each other and is the squad grouped together or have they spread themselves out a little?
If you can get from one angle to the other relatively quickly then I would throw a Core Locus Grenade at the group of them (aim for the logi) and immediately follow it up by shooting at them; this is done to get their attention. Follow this up with a second round of shots at them but this time allow yourself to take a small amount of damage and then get to cover (the combination of you making more than one engagement with them from the same angle and then you taking cover after taking a little damage will give off the impression that you took cover so that your shield can recharge before you open fire again from this first angle). Immediately run to the second angle and toss a Core Locus Grenade at the weakest person in the group (throw it at the logi if he is not already dead) and immediately open fire and aim for the head. From my experience in this game when you come at squads from multiple angles they tend to get confused on where they should focus so long as you can hit those different angles quickly. |

My Amarrian Logi designed for gang operations has 1000EHP and has a proto needle, core rep tool, and the proto hives that i can carry four of. While sustained MD damage will break me down, I'd hardly say my EHP sucks, thanks to maxed core skills.
Sadly when paired with my usual proto Amarrian Heavy, we are rarely taken out when set up and entrenched, especially with full squad support. Some objectives is suicide for us to hold, but some others are suicide for those who try and take it from us. *shrugs*

i have played this map and the only way to get in there is multiple suicide runs about 3 or 4
1 jump down vent/hole thing cloaked run to where the obj is and re all their equip 2 jump in again and re the two front corners ext to the front door ( lots of kills) 3 re there equipment again 4 re any remaining people 5 come in as a proto heavy AK.0 and get the fu** in there

This is not to hard at all:
- this take only little of coordination, because ppl there are traped. 'Hit and run' is good option here.
As heavy HMG here this strategy for attack is good and I even solo can hit one heavy/logi and retreat. If there is more blueberries that do something this is only matter of time to get point.
As mid range weapon - there is little roof under ramp abowe point. 1-2 person (assault) there can keep all point under pressure enough to bleed out ppl here. (as you can see only mid weapon needed... no grenade/MD/PLC spam) Heavy don't have range to do harm, and logi are busy. From point are to ways to get in, but you must come out to keep it on sight. When you hide there you are very weak for both way attack.
Not much time left...

Well this takes some preparation.
- Get uplinks close to the fight. Make sure your troops can respawn faser than thiers.
- Carry flux nades
- storm area, fluxes and area effect weapons first to kill their equipment.. Make them respawn some where else/ disable any remotes. Heavies/ commandoes lead the charge, followed by assaults and logis. Send scouts elswhere to kill any nearby uplinks an stragglers. Logis set up base, rep and revive survivers, heavies gaurd point, assaults run out prevent the enemey from doing to us what we did to them.
That being said, the new caldari production facility in a domination is god awful.

If your talking about one of the new maps. The one with the train or the funnel of death (the one with depo under ground and the massive 2 silinders) you don't have much options.either u have to go heavy or scout to actually get in there. But personally your best choose would be to use explosive weapons eg massive or the plasma cannon. This can be abit difficult at first. The massdriver is great for splash damage but is terrible in a close incounter and the plasma cannon ots good Av and taking pop shots at heavy. It has a small blast radus but if u get a direct hit it can one shot heavys but its very difficult . Hope this helps |

maybe if mass drivers did more splash damage to heavies. i heard that their splash resist doesnt even work on remotes, so why not reduce their spash resist. (if im wrong about the remotes, my bad, i dont personally use them).

I have played every role in this game. Since I play as a scout I know you are bullshiiting about not turning around before 3 SG hits. 2 is the sweet spot. If you can't take down the sentinel in 2 SG hits the engagement becomes a 50/50 endeavor. If 80% of your deaths are to RE's then you are the best DUST 514 player in history. Again more bullshiite. From your post you seem 10-15ish so I feel kind of guilty pointing out your stupidity. But you brought it upon yourself dumbass.

Nuke the planet from orbit, its the only way to be sure.
In reality, to actually beat them, you could park a HAV out front of the room, and then send a fukton of sents w/ dmg mods in and try to clean them out. Of course, then they'll spawn back and retake it, since it seems you guys are lacking in heavies to hold the position, and they clearly had enough dakka to keep you from getting in, I'm sure they can dakka themselves back into the hidey-hole.
