Well. Flaylock is just the way i got used to dealing with scouts. Since i couldnt hit confirm cal scouts at all, i started using the splash damage as a viable way to deal with them. And now its...just one of the sidearms i use the most next to the bolt pistol.

The reason i have so much armor and so little rep is that i really dont plan on being surprised with this fit.
The objective is, as a good RR user, to get on an advantageous position where i can easily abuse the range of my rail rifle and attack enemy infantry. While doing this i provide scans for my whole team, and i KNOW i wont be easily attacked from behind.

I understand the Compact nanos, but Mr John Ripper, RAIL RIFLES are powerful weapons but consume a LOT of ammo , or at least thats how it feels since the max ammo capacity is pretty low. I understand the ''once you are at half your ammo supply you can start looking for a depot or a hive'' But i would really prefer not to leave the confort of my elevated position to go search for ammo. (consider please im a SLOW, uncloaked and SOLO scout XD)

Regarding the scans, i play solo 98% of the time so i cannot rely on blue dots to scan for the team.

Ty for the input thou n.n I like to use precision weapons. I also like to play drunk so muscle memory matters, lol can't have the flaylock messing up my aim. Also if you are a long distance fighter then wouldnt the flaylock be a bad choice for that role? Also the flaylock is also poor with ammo, combined with a primary weapon that is also bad with ammo.... Also I don't like that fit because I wouldn't want to be locked into one role and fighting from a distance the entire time. If I see an opportunity to take a point, I want to be able to go in and take it with confidence. Flaylock and lack of nano reps does not give me that confidence. With minor changes, I can still fight long range but also be confident in close quarters. Also if you really do want to be primarily long range then you can sacrifice some armor module for better nanohives if ammo is that big of an issue. AV grenade? Flux would be more useful, especially with a FL sidearm. You'd probably be better off using an ADV scanner (since you won't be scanning scouts anyway) and upgrading your nanohive. It looks like you're trying to do everything and thus making a mediocre suit. Focus on a few things and try to work from that. NExt to the RR, the reason i use Nanohives and not Compact ones. -I...do not fight from a distance a whole game. I use my RR at CQ a LOT too. I just prefer picking on people when they cant fight back...hehehe -i am VERY confident at Close quarters! I spray and pray with my RR and after shields are down i use my flaylock ,which is surprisingly powerful at CQ environments n.n I will take your advice and maybe replace a cx armor plate for ENH armor plate and have better nanos. I have 21 db, and MOST scouts dont even run ONE complex profile dampener. THey just FerroTank the S* out of them. IF i see that the enemy is using lots of scouts i just replace the SHield Ext for ANOTHER Prec enhancer that drops it down to 17 db. My Range is 30mts only? Because last time i checked between my passive scan and my Active scanner the only thing that i cant scan are GAl/CAl scouts cloaked with 2 cx dampeners. The only things that can kill me while im on an elevated position are snipers, Heavies jumping out of DS (eeewww), or ADS, Or RAil turrets, or maybe, a VERY proficient SCR or RR user... And if you have enough dampening to avoid both my 28db A.scanner and my 17db PAssive scanning you, not only deserve to (try) kill me but wou will be a little gimped, with no more than 400HP. and you would STILL need to avoid my line of sight. XD The reason i dont use the SCR unless im runing my ak.0 assault, is that since scouts sometimes seem to have an amazingly small hitbox and if i start missing shots i dont want my main weapon to overheat. DAMP THOSE SCOUTS Bs* - Active Scanner is useful when you playing solo, and when you have Cloak, I think you do not need AS on this fit. - STR Nanohive is trash, avoid using it. - As Amarr Scout that have bonus to precision I think you should use 2x Precision Enhancers all the time. - You need 2x Complex Dampener more then armor plate that slows you down. - I would replace replace some tanking module with at least one KinKat. - Using Lai Dai have sens at the beginning of match to destroy MLT LAV, but you are not able to kill anything above that, like HAV, so would replace them with STR flux(it would cooperate with sidearm). DAMP THOSE SCOUTS Bs* - Active Scanner is useful when you playing solo, and when you have Cloak, I think you do not need AS on this fit. - STR Nanohive is trash, avoid using it. - As Amarr Scout that have bonus to precision I think you should use 2x Precision Enhancers all the time. - You need 2x Complex Dampener more then armor plate that slows you down. - I would replace replace some tanking module with at least one KinKat. - Using Lai Dai have sens at the beginning of match to destroy MLT LAV, but you are not able to kill anything above that, like HAV, so would replace them with STR flux(it would cooperate with sidearm). Lai Dai's are great when you running around with squad and you have 4-6 of them. All good advice. Will take into consideration.Specially regarding the flux to go with my Flaylock. The dampeners is not 100% needed in my case. If i have EHP and KNOW where they are coming from me i dont mind being scanned and persued. The profile dampener i use is to avoid Passive scans from scouts without or with 1 precision enhancer. Kin cat is a good idea, if im shotgunning. For a rail rifle i dont really need the speed as i will probably be stationary @ Killer's Coys: I already have an AMarr assault. But i run assault if im witha squad. If im solo, i prefer avoid being backstabbed. So this is my ''Light Assault-Anti scout'' fit. For everyone saying this is an ASSAULT FIT ,just because im not DAMPENING IT., EWAR goes both ways. Both Scanning and dampening. Believe it or not, this IS an Ewar scout. Saying this fit is an assault is like saying a Sentinel is fitted as a scout just because it runs one or 2 kin cats XD Amarrian Born. State Patriot.
