Well. Flaylock is just the way i got used to dealing with scouts. Since i couldnt hit confirm cal scouts at all, i started using the splash damage as a viable way to deal with them. And now its...just one of the sidearms i use the most next to the bolt pistol.

The reason i have so much armor and so little rep is that i really dont plan on being surprised with this fit.
The objective is, as a good RR user, to get on an advantageous position where i can easily abuse the range of my rail rifle and attack enemy infantry. While doing this i provide scans for my whole team, and i KNOW i wont be easily attacked from behind.

I understand the Compact nanos, but Mr John Ripper, RAIL RIFLES are powerful weapons but consume a LOT of ammo , or at least thats how it feels since the max ammo capacity is pretty low. I understand the ''once you are at half your ammo supply you can start looking for a depot or a hive'' But i would really prefer not to leave the confort of my elevated position to go search for ammo. (consider please im a SLOW, uncloaked and SOLO scout XD)

Regarding the scans, i play solo 98% of the time so i cannot rely on blue dots to scan for the team.

Ty for the input thou n.n I like to use precision weapons. I also like to play drunk so muscle memory matters, lol can't have the flaylock messing up my aim. Also if you are a long distance fighter then wouldnt the flaylock be a bad choice for that role? Also the flaylock is also poor with ammo, combined with a primary weapon that is also bad with ammo.... Also I don't like that fit because I wouldn't want to be locked into one role and fighting from a distance the entire time. If I see an opportunity to take a point, I want to be able to go in and take it with confidence. Flaylock and lack of nano reps does not give me that confidence. With minor changes, I can still fight long range but also be confident in close quarters. Also if you really do want to be primarily long range then you can sacrifice some armor module for better nanohives if ammo is that big of an issue.
