Yeah it would be a bit of extra work?! I'm just going to appeal to CCP for a better way than public chat to pull off mass comms with the community. Seeing a lot more mercs on the forums as of late as well so there is a thread of hope there.

There are corps with 700+ members! Mostly Spanish corps for farming, but they'll hit 20 mil sooner than later right? They can't all be garbage..... could they?!

You have to realize that this is a free to play game to most people and if they went and googled anything they'd eventually find 2014 fanfest and Legion, so there's no reason to commit.

What does make people commit is wanting to play with friends. You want more corps in PC? Then go find groups already out there and play together a lot and tell them how cool PC can be when you get involved with everyone else - if they enjoy it they'll work a bit harder to improve to compete for it, which in turn will bring others on board.

As it is it's always the same groups falling a part and reforming that are in PC. When I spoke to a few groups as i jump from one pub squad to the next I get to once in a while entertain them with stories of past PC wars. People find that stuff cool as ****, especially the motivations behind the wars, real people getting after real people and entire planets burning for it.

A lot of us do this - you can thank a lot of the '30 day corps' for bringing in players to the PC community, because there efforts to enter the game bring in more people to fray of our PC universe.

They also don't know any of the rich PC history that has been recorded in the war room! Not sure if the large population of non PC players even know about the districts that are being given away? There are some decent corps out there with the potential to put up some good fights. Most simply have no idea what's going on in the great scheme of things. Due to many updates and hotfixes a merc no longer needs 50 million isk to have a hope in PC. They can respect for roughly $15, and put all their points in a solid role for a team! 20 mil SP can get you in a solid role for PC with extra left over. Like myself when I started, you just wouldn't know where to start to look. CCP isn't exactly forthcoming when it comes to explanations and tutorials?! You wouldn't even know who, when, or how to attack unless someone from the PC community told you?! If we want to add more excitement to this game in the form of PC we need to alert them all, and actively press CCP to make changes to the PC setting. They can start with adding more than 3 stinking maps?! "Anybody order chaos?"

Very true. I imagine changes to PC as a whole would also interest corps if they thought they had any kind of chance. What turned me off in the past was the immense amount of lag?! Sense it has gotten better, and I got an SSD, I've done tons better in PC! I still agree that it needs to change to a more war like mode than it is currently.
