Why care about how CCP spins its numbers to generate whatever BS stats? I enjoyed my year-ish here and spent my share but that's all over now. If CCP wants to fix it, they will fix it and no scathing ~video game journalism~ will matter. If they want it to stay bad, let it be bad and just let go.
The best part of this video is the end where you go 'amorti, morti, *mouth fart noises* say that 10x fast' Keep doing those videos and save your serious business effort for games that aren't abandoned. Oh don't worry, "BAMM's WAR STORIES" are coming and soon. Just bare with me here dude, I don't like making these sorts of serious videos, I have to get this information off my chest and stop certain folks spouting nonsense about this game with there bias pro-Dev agendas , these are the facts in black and white. I am telling it how it is. The beer will flow through these veins soon enough, that I can promise you
Well what are you waiting for! Start chuggin and let it flow
Interesting video, Im curious to skip to the last chapter and see where it all winds up. I stumbled into the EVE/DUST world about 10 yrs too late I guess, and as a newcomer its disheartening to hear that "things aren't going so well". Looking into Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous, CCP has some seriously stiff competition. It makes me a little reserved in deciding to spend money on something that is in all possibilities "circling the drain". If EVE is "dying out" why would I want to make such a risky investment when there are other options that seems to be offering more? Just to help keep the boat afloat?
I'm completely down for that though, because I do like the game. Although, I am starting to understand why so many long time CCP customers are so upset with them now. CCP almost seems like they are some sort of shady investment broker, and take your money and then leave you in the dark so they don't have to tell you how much they screwed up with it. A little transparency would go a long way right about now. Something, anything hinting at projected future goals for the CCP games in question. Article? Screenshots? (pushing my luck) video trailer?, Would do more to draw investors (customers) than apparently CCP realizes.
The thing has me "in awe" sort of speak, is the 10+ yrs of history and lore, and what they have to build upon. The EVE world is so vast and rich in history, I would hate to see it end just as I'm beginning to get interested in it.
Hey thats my luck though. I'd love to see more, but when you look into games like Elite Dangerous, and there's actual joystick flight, space piracy, exploring an actual galaxy. Heck, it seems like how EVE was supposed to be.
Now if only CCP could put up EVE, Legion content showing what we all want/ hope for in these games, I believe CCP could bring something that makes Elite Dangerous look too simple. But they need to hurry up and do it already. They are going to miss their moment and be stuck in the same rut it seems they've been in for years, if they don't give the last of their audience and the few they've drew in recently some kind of content if they expect to go anywhere with the little momentum they've gained recently. |
