-Mortal Engines
-Sword of Shanara (for a really interesting take on a classic fantasy trillogy)

If you like It try reading the Dark Tower.
There is a specific passage towards the later sections of the book where King breaks the 4th wall for a moment an asks you if you really want to know what is going to happen.
I still don't know to this day what happened to Roland...... and for some reason having avidly read those books day and night start to finish I'm happy with the story as I know it.
