Let's simply study the reasons why CCP has ultimately D.E.S.T.R.O.Y.E.D. Caldari in literally every form and fashion.
Rail Rifle: Doubled the charge-up time Massively increased the kick Now, a creodron breach AR has not only a higher DPS...but zero kick, zero charge up time, & near identical range performance. All that comparatively to both the ishukone and kal rail rifles.
Scout: Reduced/removed passive scan precision capability. Now, not only is the scout completely vulnerable to being 1SK by any adv or higher shotgun, but you don't even see it coming to ANY scout who has only 1 dampener equipped. NTM, CCP's "nerf" of the cloak allowing two shotgun fires before the user even decloaks. Very nice.
Assault: Worst. Bonus. Ever. Thanks for allowing me to reload my broken RR faster. You've reduced the Cal Assault to nothing more than the red-headed stepchild of the scout and commando. No e-war capability, no damage bonus, no speed.
Shields: If what I'm hearing is true, you intend to now add movement penalty to shields? WOOOW. Alright, so not only does ferroscale armor plates add MORE health than complex shields, but it comes with no movement penalty. Armor stacking is king now, btw. Just because your shotty hit detection pours in complaints and QQ's of people unable to kill speedy scouts, gives no argument to then just nerf shields altogether. With no way to "rep" shields other than recharge/energizer usage, a shield's effectiveness is now nullified. Please welcome your Gal Assault Breach AR uber OP on two rep hives. GFG.
Pythons: Oh, this one's my favorite. Massive reduction to missile RoF. Buff to swarms, especially speed. Near invincible, perfect-aim autoturrets on the ground. NTM, a complete inability to fit ANYTHING without using a proto PG upgrade - even with skills MAXED. Where should I start? Idk, let's do the math. It took oh, around 15 mil sp to get my Python where it should be. It costs roughly half a mil per ship completely fitted, not including the pro fit one flies around in. How much sp/isk does it cost the guy wielding swarms? How bout the turrets? Even better, today I discovered a grimsnes - YES, a grimsnes, with an xt-1 side turret, able to rep THROUGH my damage. Even if every missile landed, the BASIC dropship would rep through the damage before I was reloaded. Why on Earth would you think that placing a turret on the ground that would take literally 2 full minutes of uncontested damage output (that could put me down in 3 shots) is a good idea?
Edit: OH wait, I almost forgot...haha. Yea. If I'm just having a good day flying around, ya know, enjoying the sp I dumped into doing what I enjoy(ed), the kids resort to simply ramming my ship with any militia DS they can come up with. Ha, and they survive. Tell me, what happens when I ram a tank into another tank? Sure, getting rammed by another ship should do some damage (as in LAVs), maybe change my path of flight some. But complete destruction? AND they fly away? Awesome.
Sigh...smdh. |

Well yea it was definitely stacking reps....I stuck 8 missiles down its throat, just sitting still in air. Before I reloaded, bam, full armor. Doesn't matter how many reps it has. I should be able to take it down, especially if I land every missile....no matter what. |
