I have been a heavy since closed beta to and guess what it's op as it stands heat build beeds to be increased but damage can remain the same. If you overheat any hmg you are a scrub right know All heavys are bad that's why they play heavy. Who are you?

Hmg should have a spool up time instead of insta firing. Overheat should also do like 250 dmg. Far to easy to be a heavy. I run militia min heavy for lols not a single point into suit or weapon and i do good. |

You have to be very conceded to think heavy is a skill roll. Alot of hp over 1000 rounds id spray n pray, same turn speed as other suits (laughable). Alot of logis willing to not make money in match to keep you alive. Weapon can down squad without reload. Yeah not seeing the downside. |

Back to the topic at hand....and trying to ignore the trolls....
I think that something needs to be done to loosen up the stranglehold that heavies have on enclosed areas.
I'm not quite sure that increased heat will do it, but I'm certainly open to the suggestion. The devil is in the details.
That said, I'm of the opinion that scouts are an equally (or even larger) imbalance -- they are masters of the open areas, and are the best counter to heavies as well.
I play both roles. |

Oh I'm smart about it, so you don't get away, I don't throw it usually. I get as close as possible than cook it off.

People, Leave the HMG alone. It is meant to be a close/CQC killing machine. We have the fitting reduction to be a deterrent against Heavies who use Light weapons. So unless you want the army of Sentinels running RRs again, stop messing with the HMG.

LoL I'm proto Amarr Sentinel. Fitting bonus? WTF do I need that for? I can fit all proto weapons and modules without sacrificing anything that doesn't seem legit. Let's be real here, I can fire my HMG for way too long before it even gets close to overheating. The standard variant needs to act like the militia variant and the rest brought down a notch.
This to me sound way better than them nerfing the HMG's damage. |

They did increase heat with delta, then decreased it again slightly right after delta due to overheating to quickly. I'm proto Minmatar and I don't have overheating problems either, but thats because I know how to use my HMGs and have enough practice. And yes we could use with changes, but maybe not to heating. They mess with heat and damage, but never work with firing rate of HMGs other than for the burst. maybe they should adjust firing rate for a change.

Except the militia! Have not used that in months and used it the other day and it over heats so fast compared to the others haha. Got my first overheat in about a year! :) |

Go pick up any other weapon and just hold down the trigger and spray and see how many people you kill before having to reload or cool off or what have you then come back bitching how you "only" get three people so I can laugh at you more |
