If you could pick one of these specializations to remove, what would you pick:
- Scout
- Assault
- Logistics
- Sentinel
- Commando
And most importantly, why would you remove it? I think I would go with Scout or Sentinel, simply because they're the only ones I can't stand using.

commando, overlaps a bit too much with the assault, although i would want the basic frames to be removed instead, as they are completely useless once you specialize. |

Or dont remove just give logi a little buff so my scout doesn't do a better job. |

Removing the stigma attached to scouts for a moment, I for one love the fast speedy role of a scout. I find that is an enjoyable way to play regardless of what the task is.
I would not want to remove any role if I am honest even for the heavy class. While I dislike hmg sentinels I am a fan of the forge gun. If anything I would probably have to go with the Commando because it offers the smallest difference from any of the other roles. It is in effect a slightly modified heavy suit and that big hitbox is noticeable. It also happens to be the least used of the classes if I remember correctly.

No my scout can logi better than my logi. I haven't tried dumping sp into logi yet and stacking on hp to make it less squishy than my scout, but the equip I use for support my scout can carry just fine, has around same hp, and provides intel to squad (if i ran w one). Logi doesn't assault like my assault and scout seems to be able to fill logi role no prob. I think logi should be next to get a little tuning. Or I just need to spend some sp on my logi before talking out my ass

Scrubs use heavies in the wrong way, like murder taxi lavs filled with heavies or rail rifle heavies etc. When used as they are meant they are not a skilless easy mode crutch, they are a very useful means of defending a position. I'm sorry you are too lazy to counter them properly as they are easy to kill if you don't run straight at them like most of you do. Anyways, I don't think any role should be removed. As the logi scouts point out, their scout suits do fill the logi role too well and this needs to be addressed.

I don't think anything should be removed.
IF anything, I'd have to say commando, even if scouts are OP. Scouts have a unique role, and needs adjusted, not removed.
Commando's just seem like a mess of confusion between the heavy and assault

Really? Is it better than I'm thinking? I gave up on that suit cause the scout was faster, could be built similar enough, w somewhat of ewar built in. Heck, you guys are making me want to dump some more sp in that thing.
Trying to maxout other cores currently but if its better than I expected I'll chuck some more sp into it. I never seen the need to carry that much equip. Fill slots H/L/E with all adv gear and the cost effectiveness of that suit kinda makes it not worth running. Granted thats my nobody/noob opinion. |

I think all clases have a place ingame. It-¦s CCP-¦s fault that Scouts assault better than Assaults, that Logi-¦s are squishy and slow, that Sentinels have a wingun at CQ and major resists to damage, that Assaults have personality issues (no role whatsoever), that Commandos feel UP compared to Sentinels and OP compared to Assaults. If i have no choice i would say Commandos, i hate the Scout class more cause since the Cloak came out they-¦re OP as f*ck, but still, some good placed nerfs can fix the most OP of classes *cough* Scout *cough* Sentinel.
I would take out the Commando Class, give those bonuses to Assaults and use the free space to put the Pilot class.

Sentinels. Any non-sentinel vs. non-sentinel firefight can be won by either side. But at close or even semi-close range a sentinel is guaranteed to win vs. a non-heavy. This is imbalanced and encourages cheap tactics like teleporting REs. |

I think they should just add a troll frame. with a 5/5/5 slot layout, strong ewar, 1000 base ehp, and 999 cpu and 999 pg.

If the "Insane advantage" they're referring to is higher cpu/pg pools, more equipment slots, better shield regen, dramatically increased speed, smaller hitbox, and the ability to use cloaks efficiently, then I'm not sure they're too far off. Ewar is huge, yes, and scouts are decidedly the best at it, by design. But the issues with scout balance are much more varied and complex than you are willing to acknowledge.

I don't think we need to remove any classes from the game. The variance in suits is one of the things that makes Dust the game that it is.
That said, I do think something needs to be done to stop the prevalence of scouts and heavies. They are simply too popular, IMO. Something needs to be done to bring the usage of the other suits more in line. |

I would say... I love my assaults, but commies are unique.
Neither have a role besides Killy more things and make them deader. It's really quite **** in that regard.
Both need retooling towards the obby gameplay that DUST is based on. But if we were to just delete a suit just now, it's be assault for being so generic. The commies have something unique to the other classes
