the new charge time on the RR is insane. i feel like anything that takes that long to fire should be shooting .50 caliber rounds.
i feel like damage per shot should be higher to compensate. RR dps just nose dived.
if assault suits get a 3rd bonus, can the cal assault get 10% reduction per level to charge time? |

its not good at long ranges either now since kick sprays your shots all over even in ADS. im constantly having to fire the RR in bursts, to maintain accuracy, but this new delay is killing me. most of my targets simply get away.
they see me from waaay off and they just bounce between cover and walk up to me. no other weapon is this unwieldy in every situation. they might as well add sniper rifle sway to the RR and kill it off for good. |

I don't RR so I can't speak from experience.
theres two issues with the RR at range.
1. the scope is too good. you see things that are way outside your range which makes me think im not doing damage.
2. at these ranges (70 to +80m), the kick is enough to make you miss your target. which is why it need almost zero kick in ADS
the laser rifle has no kick (obviously) but its lack of a scope hinders it at range. if the LR had a scope it beat the RR at range |

its kinda hard to. ive always used RR since they came out. its not ven the same gun anymore. it feels so different, and not in a good way.
high kick
low DPS
0.60 charge-up time
these are attribute that dont just make it suck in cqc... they make it suck at everything. especailly since they havent fix the rail weapons glitch
increase optimal range
decrease ADS kick
increase damage per shot
then i can justify the low DPS, crazy hip fire and charge up time. |

Now with this there is one thing that will fix the RR. Cal assault bonus : reducing kick or charge time.
with the RR nerfs, i think alot of people could get behind that kind of bonus. at the same time though, most of us love the reload bonus.
i thought of making the weapon fitting bonuses more of a "role" bonus separate from the suit bonus. so we could have a third bonus (second suit bonus depending on how you look at it)
we could keep the reload bonus and then add a bonus to reduce charge time.
the kick should be reduced in ADS regardless |
