The Gallente Federation houses its deep roots in liberty and human rights. Champions of freedom and cherishers of democracy, they are a people whose spirit cannot be detained. When the Amarr were at the height of their expansion, the Gallente were the first formidable civilizations that the Amarr met. Harbingers of individuality and creativity, the Federation is comprised of a conglomerate of races and ethnicities, where people are free from prejudice and discrimination as they believe that every person has something new to bring to the table. Many of New Eden's great ideas once originated in an innovative Gallentean's mind, including drones, skin-tight clothing, and Quafe. The capacity of the Gallentean's mind and spirit cannot be detained in the name of freedom and individuality.

Forced into minimum wage jobs, working illegally after tumultuous border crossings all with the hope to one day be citizens the Matar race has fought its way through centuries of dedicated servitude to found its own independence. The Gallente are known to be desended from the French, Amarr are Catholics, all the Asian bloodlines areGǪ well, Asian. The Matari? They're Mexicans, but no one will admit it. no they are black but you made me laugh. African/Scandinavian ^
I also believe that (strictly ideal wise) the Gallente are French, the Caldari are Chinese, and the Amarr are American.

I doubt you have a naming tattoo. Chances probably are. I do not really care for the Minmatar, I only chose it two years ago when I started playing because the values then seemed good to follow. I would change my race portrait if I could, most likely Gallente.
