First one I can understand.
But strafing? Really? That's probably the most important FPS skill you will learn AFTER aiming.

That's probably the most important FPS skill you will learn AFTER aiming. Straffing isn't actually a skill. Its exploitation of poor hit detection, latency, and frame rate. Do you honestly think you could walk through and dodge bullets firing at 800rpm traveling at 1000m/s???
Go play a TF2 scout and tell me that strafing isn't a skill.
It's done to screw with people who can't adjust aim on the fly. If you can aim, strafing is almost never an issue. In a zero-ping environment, your argument holds no weight, as it comes down to simply "Can I adjust my aim as fast as he changes directions?"
This is the reason why K/BM gets so much hate with the super strafe, as they can change directions faster than a DS3 can possibly keep up. It's not the HD, its literally almost impossible to keep up with them. Granted, they have wonky support on the aim side, so it balances itself out a bit.
Also: LOL at trying to include real life into this. It's a video game. Strafing and Aiming have been and always WILL be the most important skills in an FPS, and they are quickly followed by Positioning and Fire Control.
Learn to FPS dude.

Learn to FPS dude. you're an idiot. latency is an off the charts problem with DUST, and then add a zero inertia movement to multiply it's effect. If you are unable to spot the "out of region" players then add noob!
I'm saying his argument is absolutely wrong on a fundamental level. Unless he wants to say that walking around is exploiting poor hit detection, latency, and frame rate as well, because that's all strafing is. It's walking and shooting.
Yeah, latency is really sh*tty in Dust, but what do you want people to do when being shot at? Stand still and smile? No, they will strafe as much as they can to throw off your aim, and mastering that as a skill is the first step to being a halfway decent player.

OP means that everyone should slow down the more the walk.
I'm fairly certain that he wants everyone to line up and shoot each other like in the civil war.
