What?
It makes perfect sense for the Amarr Assault to use a Flux. Hell of a lot more sense than them using a Matari Locus 'nade.
And why would a Caldari suit use a Gallente Flux 'nade?

I'm actually more mad that only the gal sent got the flux grenade... Shouldn't they all have it since it is gal tech? and god I want them to switch the stuff for Cal scout... why give them a gal scanner... They should have 1 damp 1 amp and a cloak... And knives...
On a side note, wouldn't the logistics have adv level weapons? Since the weapons on there aren't available at standard/basic level? |

Mostly because the Caldari Rail Rifle is an Armor effective weapon, so dropping Shields and then killing with Rail Rifle makes some amount of sense. However, Locus can kill both so it works alright.
For Amarr, having a weapon that deals 120/80 to Shield/Armor and only having a grenade that damage Shields leaves a massive weakness to Armor heavy dropsuits.

What if you accidently flux yourself... Thats pretty much why I don't use flux's all to often...(Damn miss aim always kills me... with flux's and with explosives... |

Well remember, it's also a matter of what your racial opponents use. Amarr use lots of armor and less shield so it makes sense for their racial enemy (Min) to use anti armor gear. Hence Combat rifles.
Min are more shield than armor so it makes sense that amarr have shield killing gear. Sure it would be SMARTER for all situations in general to balance shield and armor killing capability -- but lore wise that is how they focus stuff. |
