Currently the placement of equipment from left to right is like this:
uplink hive rep tool needle
When the natural logi feel is something like this:
Hive needle rep tool uplink
Or
Uplink needle rep tool nanohive
Placeable equipment is ALWAYS on the outside slots while the mainly used equipment is the one in the middle (selected by pushing down on the right stick)
So if you could change this for use logistics players so that we don't have such an unnatural setup on the BPO suit that would be fantastic.

I am not that way at all. I usually have Uplink-Hive-Repair tool, or Injector-Hive-Repair tool.
It's weird to think that one's own preference is that of everyone.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

I think this is a matter of preference really. Going from Left to Right I almost always have Uplink > Hive > Injector > Repair Tool where it sounds like you have the opposite more or less?

As a keyboard and mouse user, with my wonky equipment selection, I always prefer my repair tool on the rightmost slot.

The equipment that I am switching to the most (mostly rep tool) is in the right most slot.
Second most is in the left most (scanner).
Deployables in the middle slots.
Reaching rep tool and scanner has to be quick. Hives and links not so much.

I think my logic is that vehicle active modules fill it Clockwise from the 12'o'clock position, so I filled my equipment in a clockwise fashion as well.

Mine is rep tool, uplink, injector. I find it easier with the keyboard and mouse to get to stuff on the left quickly. |

Just chiming in on my own UTILITY BELT, from right to left:
Scanner (because fatties love scans), Links or Needle (IE, my triage gear), and then hives all the way on the left (cause fatties love hives, and so do ARRs).
Then, as John mentioned, the God-intended second gun. I may not always run Amarr primary weapons, but there will always be an Amarr gun on my Logi fits. Especially considering how at least twice today my scrambler pistol has absolutely saved my bacon.
Because those dirty scout scrubs can't have my bacon. That bacon is mine.

Back when i used to logi, i always had Needle > Uplinks > Nanohive > scanner/rep tool > remotes
The needle i placed at the farthest down because it kinda fitted nicely back in the day with "Merc, down, select, down."
Uplinks/Nanos are always a "select it quick, throw it quick, swap back quick" thing, and as such needed to be easily found.
near the right edge was my active equips, as somtimes i'd hold the right analog while doing it so i can get a quick glimpse of my surroundings.
Remotes being separate from other deployables was a weird one, but I found them to be more "active" than Nanohives, you'd pull one out, throw it, stand with the button out and wait to press L1.

Left to right placement is trivial, but some things are musts:
Nanite injector should never be placed on the outside. You can use CIRCLE four the injector, so put it item other equipment to separate them further on the wheel and make it easier to precisely choose your equipment.
For similar reasons, placeable equipment should be fit in between non -placeable equipment since you may run out of the previous making it a good separator in the wheel like the injector.

my natural is reptool to the right.. hive/uplink down and needle is just below rep tool cause i just use O instead of getting out my needle
however this has lead to some problems on amarr logi due to having a sidearm so i sometimes hit sidearm instead of reptool

since NI has a hot-button, the most difficult location to reach makes since for it, then in order or frequency of use...
INJECTOR>LINK>HIVE>REP TOOL...

This is how I pretty much always run mine as well. The key element for me is having rep tool on one end of the set and uplinks on the other (hives if no uplinks are present).

ALL mods of every type on every Apex suit are Standard any exceptions to this - should they exist - would be classified as bugs and removed by CCP.
