Please consider the following:
1: Remove Faction Warfare as an ISK Sink entirely and make it profitable. People who play DUST by and large don't care about the actual winning teams in EVE. They care whether or not they will be rewarded for play. Making an entire game mode into an ISK penalty devalues it to most players. Right now FW is the closest thing to "endgame" we have. There isn't enough there to draw attention.
2: Control scheme improvements. We lost a lot of players when the DS3 and KB/M "upgrades" went live in uprising 1.0. Making the controls more intuitive, customizable and fluid should be a priority for playability. Compared to many other games, dust controls are sluggish and unresponsive, contributing to massive player frustrations.
3: Limit uplinks in high places. The uplink spam in hard-to-reach places makes it impossible to engage tactics other than "get the links up high as fast as you can."
4: Fix the LAVs BEFORE they become a problem like last year. Remember the numerous threads from tank and dropship pilots about how they couldn't get their vehicles deployed because of LAVs? I do.
5: Sharply reduce scout spam. Removing the second equipment slot will remove the ability to stealth attack whole squads with RE after decloaking.
6: Sharply reduce sentinel spam. Because once the game gets to a certain point seeing nothing but fatsuits is frustrating for everyone. I suggest normalizing HMG heat so that all HMGs overheat at the rate of the STD model HMGs.

6: Sharply reduce sentinel spam. Because once the game gets to a certain point seeing nothing but fatsuits is frustrating for everyone. I suggest normalizing HMG heat so that all HMGs overheat at the rate of the STD model HMGs. 1. Keep the "ISK sink" aspect, just remove/heavily reduce the ISK cost from FW gear. ISK needs a place to disappear into. FW can fulfill that role, but allow FW people to live in FW if they want to.
2. Yeah... not seeing a downside to appealing to more players with better controls.
3. Allow uplinks to only be placed on the ground and not within 10m of an installation or objective. Using the term "ground" loosely here; metal floor, dirt, maybe on top of crates. Anything not on top of a goddamned tower 2km in the ******* sky.
4. LAV damage reduction could be reduced a little. Just allow multiple vehicles to be flown in by the RDV instead of one at a time.
5. RE scouts are like stealth bombers. They are magical murder pixies. With the cloaking nerf(s) they are now less of an issue. Light-assault strafe scouts are the thing. Fix that thing, not your thing.
6. I personally liked the reduction to HMG turning speed you proposed, but sure, higher heat build-up is fine.
My advice to you, playa...

Any time you buy something on the market, ISK disappears. Since there's no player market and all sales are NPC controlled there is no ISK remaining in circulation like in EVE.
OP updated to include logi/commando iteration pass.

FacWar should've NEVER been an ISK sink.

Why is the economy a concern when it is one way and not connected to EVE?
NPCs eat all the money and buy virtual buttplugs while your PS3 is turned off. Inflation is a nonfactor.

7: Finish iterating Logi survivability and Commando utility. I consider commando Utility the lowest on this list for priority.
8: New content such as missing weapons/vehicles. Some of this would go a long way towards recovering players.
9: Tiericide on dropsuits. Let the fittings and weapons be varied but having three dropsuits that do the exact same thing are UI clutter.
1. FW generally needs a overhaul and proper links with EVE so DUST players might actually give a **** in trying it out and sticking with it, basically has to match the system in EVE for it to work aswell and include the ability to target systems and planets for organized attacks is a must
2. I need a button to hit all my hardners on
3. Fly upthere yourself aka sandbox
4. They are no where near a big as problem as you make them out to be and also use the tools you have aka sandbox again
5. Also stop being able to throw the RE 20m will help, it frankly should be dropped at the feet or removed completely because its a better grenade than a grenade is
6. It a counter to scouts who are better than assaults in everyway while being able to go invisible, throw RE everywhere at longer distances and 2 shot everything with a shotgun
7. Meh
8. Vehicle 1st since everything has been for infantry since 1 year ago, at this rate vehicles will have nothing left if they keep taking it away
9. Just give us proto vehicles instead |

If they get re-released I actually hope they are as difficult to kill as they were in chromosome. No more, no less. I miss fighting those things though some of the gunnlogis lately are starting to resemble fighting the sagaris.
It's amazing.

If I get killed 5 times in Pubs, and get 100K back, I've made my money back.
If I get killed 5 times in Pubs, but make 200K, then I've made a profit.
If I keep making a profit, over, and over, and over, then we run into that issue of the corps feeding money from clone sales to the members.
I have so much ISK by the time I played a good number of matches, that I could by a 4-5 Tanks and then just swallow the loss.
While I'm not going to go and say its bad NOW, IF we get the open market (which we may, considering Its apparent Shanghai is still working on DUST), then it will outright snap the system in two unless we have someplace for the ISK to die, permanently; OR have another Character Reset, only on ISK.
With the Events in FW that often crop up, and the other incentives to go there (FW Gear, Loot, etc.), FW has been doing that quite well. Providing a place where people can throw ISK to help a higher cause. And to get a better fight. And in hope of sweet loot. Etc, etc, etc.
Because you wanted to be something you're not.

I think the latest facwar isk sink (APEX) will contribute to thinning wallets since you don't earn ISK in FW.
Even if you DO start earning isk in FW. 10m a pop.

For FW i was thinking about this,
Right now the issue is Q-sync proto stomping. Its an issue because the stompers can afford to lose it but others can't and have to run basic or other cheap gear.
One way is to limit the level of suits used, but that would make it less fun and boring and just not work.
Another way is to give both isk and LP as a payout so that people can counter the stomp. I know this would encourage more stomping and ruin the point of FW, but its the only way other then the previous to fix this for now and for people to counter the stomp. You need isk for loyalty items anyway so it can't hurt that bad.
