CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

My thoughts exactly. Apparently many people consider the Minmatar Assault more OP then scouts because you get better HP while keeping the ability to strafe. Also, I've heard people rage about Caldari Snipers with charge Sniper Rifles in the red line... Put your flags up in the sky. And wave them side to side. Show the world where you're from. If you asked me about a month ago I'd go with Pilots, as thier their constant campaign and whining about AV weapons create Tank 514, which caused a vast amount of veterans who refused to use HAV/ADSs to play DUST w/o dying constantly to quit (1). Most of their arguments being hypocritical, a logical fallacy, moronic, a double standard, and an insult to the intelligence of anyone who's ever played a single match competitively didn't help things either. (2). Now? I'd have to go with Scouts. For starters, they're quite possibly the easiest suits to use in FPS history (3). When you also combine the fact that they out-perform nearly all roles at their own jobs (4), and the fact that most of them seem to have an ego even larger than that of 1.7 - HF Charlie Pilots (5); you've got a recipe for hate. What I hate most about Scouts is that the skill in using them is gone, which made them boring and useless to me. Luckly CCP sells respecs to get my SP out of them though. (2) Just keep scrolling through GD and you'll come across multiple threads which have Pilots and their apologists claiming that they were destroying vehicles on a regular basis with Swarms, despite this. Then look at the threads claiming that ADSs were getting destroyed like flies in PC (before HF Bravo), despite the fact that ADSs in a PC would always get 25-30 kills with 0-2 deaths. (3) I've yet to play a competitive FPS which allowed you to see the location of 95% of enemies from all sides and behind walls at around 45-70m while still having solid HP, speed, and invisibility. Has anyone else? (4) A Scout is much better at placing Uplinks than an Amarr Logi, as they can move much faster while being undetected while (if using Viziam Flux) still having a good spawn time. If you're using a STD Cal/Am Logi, it's a straight up downgrade from a STD Scout. Who needs Active Scans when you can have a one that's active 24/7 in a 360 angle while also having lower Scan db? Not to mention that you can still fire while it's active. Anyone can spam Nanohives, and the MinLogi is the only one not out-performed by Scouts. Scouts can have a solid amount of HP while still seeing everything in the area and being even faster, making them better at Assaulting areas than the Assault. Defending a point with SGs and REs isn't hard either, especially when you can see where everyone is 24/7. (5) I won't call out specific players as I like not being banned. With that in mind, just read posts recently made by Scouts and in threads about Scouts. [/rant] The 1st Matari Commando -HAND

I use the ion pistol/nk no cloak so I don't engage them unless sneaking, but there are times when I think I am at a safe range and still get shredded.
