Why ? Because who needs skill when you can use aim assist with a high alpha weapon ? The thing that annoys me the most is that they are usually at least 5 of them per team. Usually in dom I go up against 4 heavies 5 Scouts 1 logi and 2 mlt dudes.

And as the saying goes " what goes around comes around". So I use it the least possible.

I don't know how you could balance this gun really. Maybe a rof nerf to make it shoot as fast a mass driver.
Now that I really think of it , it really sounds like a good idea.

Anyway people , have fun the way you want !. I can't change how people play.
I will say this tho.
What is more fun , a challenge that you accomplished or a routine that you easily accomplish.

Now I hope accomplishing the challenge becomes a routine.
I hope to see more PLC'ers and Knifers on the field .

I think you are blaming the wrong thing. It's not the shotgun imo. It's not even the cloak. If a scout sneaks up on you and shotguns them good on them and too bad for you.

But if you see them coming and STILL can't kill them then there is a problem. Currently, you can see a scout coming and often can't shoot them down. That's the problem.

I can't see all of them but I see most of them. Mostly I hear them decloak behind me. I try to get as far from them as possible but with the fast rof , I am helpless. If you read my post you would have understood that I am complaining about the SG scout spam. I can't see everybody too.

I can't see everybody too. Well no one expects you to see all of them. The reason that scout shotguns are a thing is not that you can sneak up and kill people easily. You could always do that and cloaking makes it a bit easier. However, even with cloak you can still catch em a fair amount of the time if you are aware of your surroundings enough. As you yourself said, you can see most of them. Mostly, they decloak behind you. That means they snuck up on you. You will be at a disadvantage which is what is intended (it is a shotgun after all.) But surely you see a scout cloaked and running out in the field sometimes right? Or sometimes not even cloaked -- just running around with a Combat rifle. If you read MY post you would understand that oftentimes you shoot them and do no damage. That is, according to my completely subjective opinion, a problem. If scouts didn't ignore damage like they do they wouldn't be slaying everything and you wouldn't see scout sg spam. Sure thanks to cloak you WOULD see scout shotgunners -- but only people dedicated to the playstyle. You wouldn't see scout Assaults, scout logis, and you might actually see scout scouts once again...
